"When you look at the sea, it seems like it doesn't have an end. But we are all aware that the sea ends somewhere. On the other side of infinity is a coast.
It is the same with our trials. When you go through them, it seems like they'll never end but eventually they'll end. Therefore have patience and seek help from your Lord, because He is The Merciful One"

So here I am in the cafeteria with a smile on my face sitting with my brother, best friend and her fiancé; enjoying the lovely doughnut and some fries when my smile changes into a frown then just in a second into a grimace.

You want to know why? Well guess what, the 4 jerks were walking towards our table with their food in their hands. They all sat opposite me with the same look on their faces!

A smirk, typical jerks!

I looked around to see what look my friends wore on their faces but it seems like no one was affected by the sudden change of environment around our table.

"Just ask already, I know you're dying to speak, I can literally feel your curiosity" Ayman said not even looking at anyone but I knew he was talking to me.

"Fine, what are they doing here" I answered with a disgusted look on my face.

"Ayesha, we're right here" Aahil said raising his eyes at me.

Completely Ignoring him I turned to Ay and spoke again, "you know I really hate all of them right?"

"Ummm Ayesha we all got ears too because we're sitting right here" I looked up to glance at Yazaan who said this but ignored him as well.

I looked at Ay once again and spoke gritting my teeth in the process "Seriously Ay, I don't even want to look at their faces"

"AYESHA, THEY'RE RIGHT HERE" this was Aadil who spoke and looked really frustrated.

"Okay chill it" I replied to him and for the last time looked at Ayman and said, "Ay if you don't ask them to leave right now, I'll seriously punch them all in their faces".

"AYESHAAA" this was all of them except Zayn screaming my name to shut me up but it really felt like they were waking me up.

"Ya Allah, Stop it people! have some mercy on my ears. You just made me lose my hearing ability temporarily" I said covering my ears.

"Well if you don't shut up, I'll make you lose it permanently" Zayn spoke for the first time which made me smile inwards because I got backup brothers here.

"Zayn" Ayman and Aadil said at the same time narrowing their eyes at Zayn in a warning look to which he simply rolled his eyes. He then looked up at me and said "I pity your husband"

"I pity your wife"

"I pity your twin"

"I pity your family"

"I pity Mufasa"

"I pity- wait, how do you know Mufasa?" I questioned Zayn out of curiosity.

"Well I guess your cat is more famous than you are" that was his stupid reply which I think he thought was smart because he had that weird victory face on.

"And I pity myself for taking the decision of them sitting together with us" Aadil said shaking his head at Zayn and me, why me? I didn't do anything at all...

"You took the wrong decision for the first time Aadil, by the end of the game they'll either pull out each other's hair or we'll end up pulling our own." I narrowed my eyes at Bilal who said that and he just chuckled.

"What game?" I questioned looking at everyone as I really wanted to know why 'they' are sitting with us.

"As we're the main players of our team" Ayman started pointing at the jerks and himself then continued, "I thought we'd sit together at lunch for discussing about the football game which is coming up this week."

I looked around to see everyone who had their eyes on me like they were expecting me to say something. Just as I opened my mouth I heard the bell go off indicating the next period.

Standing up from my seat I could still feel all eyes on me, I turned to look at Zayn and said, "I pity your face" my final statement made Ayman shake his head and Aadil face palm himself.

******

"Do I want to know how you got yourself into detention for the rest of this term?" my darling brother Yasir questioned me with a very stern look on his face.

"Like as if you wouldn't want to know if I said no!" this was my answer which was returned by a glare from my brother who was kind of, well not kind of but extremely furious.

"She failed the math test" Ayman answered Yasir's question on behalf of me. Yas looked confused and asked, "Doesn't she always?"

This time I glared at him but before I could start screaming at him Ayman chose to answer him again, "she always gets at least a 40 but this time she got a zero, literally a ZERO. Instead of even attempting to answer, she wrote 'solve it yourself' on the test paper. Obviously Mr. James would get pissed off"

I watched Yas is he let out a mouthful of breath and ran a hand through his hair in pure frustration.

He came closer to me and held me by my shoulders, "when will you grow up Ayesha?"

"When you're happily married with 36 grandchildren" I shrugged and went back to the school to attend my 'detention classes'.

******

"I'm back momma" I yelled entering my house only to be answered with silence.

As I had stupid annoying detention classes for the whole term, Yasir decided to punish me by leaving me at school and told me to take the bus.

It would have been a real punishment if I hadn't watched him follow the bus all the way till here. Seriously, what a punishment; my brothers and their protectiveness!

Walking through the silence of my house I was trying to think where everyone can go at this time and leave the house door open. I climbed up the stairs and walked towards my room when I heard laughter coming from Ayman's room which was opposite mine.

Guess he's at home but why is he laughing? Out of curiosity I opened his room and my eyes went wide on their own by what I saw.

What I saw was 3 people standing right in the center of the room wearing masks and their outfit was fully black. They looked like ninjas holding weapons in their hands. I wanted to scream and run away when I noticed something, that something being very familiar.

Green, blue and grey; 3 pairs of eyes that looked back at me were more than just familiar. So much for wearing masks and being discreet; it just took me 3 seconds to recognize the 3 people standing in front of me.

They say your eyes give everything away; well in this case their colorful eyes gave their identity away.
