Should I answer it? Maybe it's not him. Maybe it's my sister. I'll answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey...uh.... is this Jane?"
"...Yes."
"Hey, it's Tom."
"Oh my gosh, I didn't think you were going to call."
"Why wouldn't I? Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to go out for some pie sometime."
"Pie?"
"Of course. Sweet, just like you..."
"Awe! Sure, when would you like to go?"
"Tonight preferably."
"Perfect, I'll get ready."
"I'll pick you up at six."
"Perfect."
"See you then, bye."
"Bye."
Ahhhhhhhhh! I got a date. Pie isn't exactly the first date you really want, but it will still be perfect. Maybe this can turn out to be a cute fling for me. I just hope he doesn't expect it to go further than I'm going to live... I can't tell him, now. I'll have to wait awhile. Damn, I should've told him! There's no way I can dump that on a guy on our first date, and maybe our last. Yeah, I'll wait.
