He did it. He finally asked me. I'm so happy!! Well I'm happy that we are dating, but I'm nervous because now I know that I have to tell him. I don't even want to think about what will happen when I tell him. He could either freak out, and dump me or he could stick with me through it all. I don't really know if he is the type of person to leave someone because of something like that or not. Personally, I hope that he stays with me, but I also understand that he has the right to leave me, because I didn't tell him before, and I definitely should have. I really do like Tom though, and I think that now is the time to tell him, because I'm not going to wait in our relationship for the "right" time, because there wont be a right time for me. I just have to do it.
On a different note, here's how has asked me out. He asked me on a regular date, and right before we ordered desert he asked me if he could talk to me for a quick second. I obviously said yes, and he walked over to me, and had me stand on the chair. He then proceeded to ask if I would like to be his girlfriend. I smiled really big, not even able to contain my joy. I bent down to his level, and at this point just about everyone is looking at us. I whisper a "Yes." and he picks me up off of the chair, and puts me on the ground. Everyone is clapping after he yells "She said yes!!" Later, he told me that the only reason he didn't get on one knee was because he didn't want me or anyone else to think that he was proposing. And, all I could think about was how great it'll be if/when he proposes to me. I really like this guy' maybe even love him.
