Tom waits for Jane to show up at their planned spot. He runs through what he wants to say, but knows that he wont say it the way he wants to. He knows that this one conversation could make or break their entire relationship.
Tom spots Jane and doesn't know what to do. So, he decides to look away and lean on the tree, because he doesn't want her to think that he is staring at her. She walks over to him slowly knowing that this conversation could make or break their relationship.
"Good morning Tom."
"Morning."
"You wanted to talk; so, talk."
"Okay. I was frustrated because you didn't tell me earlier. I understand that it was probably hard for you to tell me. I mean, I know it was hard for you to tell me. But, you let me go all of this time thinking that your perfectly fine. I don't want to lose you. I'm sorry I walked out on you; on us. I have regretted it every second; every minute; every hour since."
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but I thought that no matter what you would be there for me. I didn't think you would get mad and walk out of my house, and then not talk to me again for like 25 days. You were supposed to hug me,and tell me that it was going to be okay, but you walked out on us. You walked away from us, and I don't know what to do now."
"I know things are frustrating right now, but if you give me another chance-"
"I can't do it right now Tom. I love you, but you hurt me badly. Things are bad, and I don't know what to do. Just let me think about it."
"Okay."
"Goodbye Tom."
And there she went. She didn't even let him say goodbye back. She just left. She felt bad, but she didn't know what to do. And Tom was in shock. He broke it. This was the make or break moment, and it broke. What were they going to do?
