Now, today is the day that Jane is going to tell Tom that she has terminal cancer. He hasn't known the whole time they were together. Jane realizes that now the time has come, and that she needs to let him know. Let see how it goes.
Tom arrives at Jane's house, and she opens the door. The sit on the couch that is right by the door.
"Tom..... I really should tell you now. It's getting serious....We, are getting serious now, and you need to know."
"Know what?"
"I.....I.....I have terminal cancer..."
"What?"
"I didn't want to tell you before, but now we are getting serious, and I figured you needed to know. I wish I could explain it all, but I just can't"
"Why didn't you tell me before? Why did you wait? Why did you keep this from me? What else have you been keeping from me?"
"Tom!"
Tom stands up, and walks to the door.
"Please, I'm sorry."
"What am I supposed to do Jane? Just pretend that this didn't happen? Pretend that this doesn't hurt? Pretend that I'm not mad? Well, I cant. I am mad. You kept this big thing from me, and it hurts me. I can't do this anymore Jane."
"It's over?"
He walks out the door without saying another word, and leaves. Jane begins to cry. She knew she should have told him before. Now everything is over, and he is gone for good. What is she supposed to do?
