Edited - As I'm walking down the streets of Chicago it starts sprinkling.
I hear a little whimper and I look around.
I listen closely again.
I follow the sound to a little box labeled "free."
I look inside to see a little white huskey.
"Awww." I say and pick him or her up.
And it's her.
Good I have too many men in my life.
"Hi girl." I say.
She whimpers.
"Okay I'm taking you home and I don't care what they say." I tell the dog. ----- I hide the puppy in my coat and bring her upstairs towards my condo.
"Yeah I'm not taking the elevator." I say and the dog barks.
We get inside my condo and I let the dog down.
"Okay how about we bath you first." I say. ----- I run the water in one of the guest bathrooms and set the temperature just right.
I leave the bathroom and start searching for the puppy.
"Here puppy puppy." I say looking around.
"Emma." I hear.
I frown and look around.
"Hello?" I call out.
"Emma." I hear again.
I turn around to see Bonnie.
I cross my arms and glare at her.
"Bonnie." I say.
"Emma." She says.
"How'd you find me?" I ask.
"It wasn't hard you didn't even cast a blocking spell or anything." She says.
"That's cause I haven't been able to do magic since you killed Eris." I say.
"I'm sorry about that." She says.
"Yeah whatever." I say.
"Why are you here Bonnie?" I ask.
"Because we need you back in Mystic Falls." She says. I roll my eyes.
"Believe it or not. I'm fucking happy. Here away from all of you guys. All the drama I have friends here. Actual friends that care about me and not just use me." I say.
"There's a cure." She says.
"For what." I ask.
"Vampirism. And we need help finding it." Bonnie adds.
"Oh wait and let me guess you all want it for.... wait for it.... Elena!" I say surprised.
"No surprise there." I say.
Bonnie looks at me.
"You gonna keep staring or what." I ask.
"It's just. I thought you'd want to know." Bonnie says.
"And why's that?" I ask harshly.
"Because it's your sister." Bonnie says.
"Well no thanks I'm good." I say.
"What happened to you?" Bonnie asks.
"You did. You and everyone else in Mystic Falls." I add.
Someone comes through my front door.
Jax.
"Emma. What's going on?" Jax asks.
"Nothing. This lady was just leaving." I say pointing to the door.
"Just think about it." Bonnie says.
"Mmm thinking, thought, and done. Answers still no." I say.
She looks at me.
"Leave." I say.
Then I watch her leave my condo.
I then slam the door shut with my hands.
Hey! I can use my magic again?
"Who was that?" Jax asks.
"Mmm a fellow friend." I say with quotation marks.
"Okay then." Jax says.
Suddenly the puppy comes to me.
"Puppy." I say.
"You found a dog?" Jax asks.
"More like.... It found me." I say.
"Wanna help me bath it?" I ask.
"You know you're not allowed to have pets here?" Jax says.
"You know I really don't care." I say and start walking towards the bathroom. ---- Once the puppy's all bathed and stuff I use my magic and create a collar.
"Luna?" Jax asks.
"Yep." I say.

"So what are you gonna do with her?" Jax asks.
"Keep her." I say and wave a food bowl and a water bowl in front of me.
I then chant a couple things and a food bag appears in front of us.
"Here you go Luna. There's some food." I say and Luna goes to the food.
Jax and I sit on my couch in front of the big glass window opening.
Overlooking the city. ---- "Do you think I should go back to my old town?" I ask.
"I mean I dunno. Why'd you leave?" Jax asks.
"To get away." I say.
"Do they need you back?" Jax asks.
"Yeah but it's like they only need me when they need me. Like they never want me. For me." I say and think.
"If that made any since." I say.
"No it did. But don't you wanna go back just to see what's happening?" Jax asks.
I pet Luna and look Jax.
"But I'm happy here." I say.
"I'd go if you want." He says.
I smile.
"Okay. But let me have a little more fun here." I say and rest my head on his shoulder.
