Rebekah and I are laying down on Stefan's bet reading his diaries.

"I know you were daggered a little while ago but knocking is still a thing." Stefan says.

"So is writing in your diary apparently." Rebekah says and I snicker.

"I'm just checking for doubts. You can never be too cautious when it comes to love one minute you're begging me to compel Elena from your mind and the next I'm up coffin creek with a dagger in my back." Rebekah says.

I watch as Stefan puts on his shirt.

"Yeah well you guys can read it all you want. I'm done with her." He says.

"Until we find the cure right." I say and look up.

He looks up and glances at me.

"Heyyyo Emma talking." I say.

"Oh I know you are." He says.

"So answer." I say.

"I'm ignoring you." He smirks.

I get up.

"Look we all are at a bit of a disadvantage in this whole race for the cure." Rebekah says.

I walk to Stefan.

"Team Kalus has Jeremy the hunter. Which I can check up on at any given moment since Klaus is Klaus. Team Shane has Bonnie the Bennett witch." I say.

"If you guys are here to remind me of our last place status, I'm very well aware." He says looking at Rebekah then me.

"Actually." I say.

"We have a plan." Rebekah says.

"The cure is buried with Silas, that ancient evil guy my brother Kol is so afraid of." Rebekah says getting up.

"Shane was so eager to prove his existence that he gave away that he was one of the keys to resurrecting him his headstone." Rebekah smiles.

"I see you guys want to steal it." Stefan says.

"Not necessarily steal it. More like borrow." I say.

"Then team Shane will have to join team us. Then Klaus will be left out in the cold where he belongs." Rebekah says.

Stefan looks at both of us.

Rebekah's in my old room helping me figure out what to wear.

"It has to be sexy if you're going to keep up the whole Stefan thing." Rebekah says.

"Oh what so ever do you mean?" I ask holding up a dress in the mirror.

"I know what you're doing, slowly playing him." She smirks.

I look at her through the mirror.

"I am not playing him." I smirk.

"You so are." She says.

I laugh.
