The woman and I went to a cafe near the school and got coffee and sat and talked. She wanted to know about her daughter's birth mother, and how she came to be.

"I'm a Detective for Manhattan SVU," I spoke before taking a sip from my coffee.

"How long have you worked there?" She asked and I let out a sigh.

"God, it's been years," I said with a small smiled.

"I work for an ad agency." She replied and I nodded.

"Have a lot of time for Maya?" I asked, and she nodded quickly.

"I only work the hours that she is in daycare. I try my hardest to spend as much time with her as possible." She spoke quickly.

"Sarah, I hope you know that I'm not asking these questions to get dirt on you. I just want to make sure my- your daughter is getting her best chance." I replied. She nodded slowly.

"Who is her father?"She asked and I swallowed hard.

"The man who raped me," I replied slowly, but she just continued to look at me.

"James Stabler. He was angry with me because I arrested him, and he wanted to get back at his brother. So he took me and raped me." I replied slowly again.

"Why would he take you to get back at his brother?"She spoke, and I pointed at my ring.

"I'm Olivia Stabler, my husband is James's brother." I sighed. She frowned and shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"Maya is an amazing little girl. She has a little crush on Eli, just like he has on her." Sarah chuckled and I smiled.

"We can change Eli's daycare if you would feel more comfortable. I know it'll be hard for you, and frankly me. I can't go there and see her since she looks like me." I frowned, pain evident in my voice.

"Maya and I are moving to Boston, Olivia." She spoke, and even though I knew I couldn't have my daughter in my life, at least for right now, it still hurt that she wasn't going to be nearby anymore.

"Since I set up the adoption so she would get information about me when she is older, will you still allow it?" I questioned and she reached across the table and squeezed my hand.

"She is going to love to get to know you when she is older." Sarah smiled and I let out a sigh of relief.

I drove to work with tears on my cheeks. I was regretting giving my little girl up, but she looked happy, and she was loved, but she wasn't with me. I walked in and straight to the cribs where I curled up into a ball on one of the bunks and cried quietly.

"Babe?" Elliot spoke, and I swallowed hard before wiping the tears from my cheeks.

"I'm over here," I replied quickly. Elliot walked over to where I lay and he gently pushed my messy hair out of my face.

"Why are you crying?" He asked gently, not exactly sure how to approach this.

"I saw her today." I breathed.

"You saw who?" He replied and I swallowed hard once again.

"Maya Rose Lancaster." I whimpered.

"Who is that?" He questioned.

"My daughter." I sobbed.

Elliot was so confused about what I had said, and he left in a huff while I just told Cragen that I needed the rest of the day off. He didn't ask any questions, he just allowed it. I drove back to the daycare and picked up Eli.

"Where are we going, Livvie?" He asked, and I gave him a weak smile through the rearview mirror.

"We are going to get some groceries and then go home," I spoke. He nodded slowly and started to swing his legs in his car seat.

"Livvie, I love you." He spoke quickly, and all of the horrible feelings that I had before sorta faded for a few moments. This little boy, one that none of us thought would live through that car accident, was such an amazing little boy who I loved like he was my own. He was sweet and just like his father.

"I love you too, little buddy." I smiled back.

We finished the shopping and then Eli talked me into getting him lunch, so I bought lunch and we ate then eventually made it home.

"Daddy!" Eli squealed once I sat him down. He sprinted over to where Elliot sat at the computer and climbed onto his lap.

"Eli! Aren't you supposed to be at daycare?" Elliot chuckled as he ruffled Eli's blonde curls.

"Livvie picked me up and we got lunch!" Eli giggled, and Elliot turned around to look at me, a small frown on his face.

"Eli, why don't you go and play in your room. Let Daddy get back to his work." I spoke and he nodded quickly before running off.

I left the apartment and came back after bringing up the bags, and Elliot was slowly putting away the items I had bought.

"Why did you pick him up?" Elliot asked and I swallowed hard.

"I needed to get my mind off, um, I needed a distraction and Eli is the sweetest one there is," I replied.

"Olivia, maybe it isn't wise for you to be taking my son out of daycare without my permission." Elliot snapped, and I looked at him with wide eyes.

"Well, I'm sorry. I'm nothing to him, right? Just some slut his father married? Huh?" I hissed, and Elliot struck me across my face.

I looked at him with wide eyes.

"That confirms it. I am just a slut that you felt bad for. You married me because your brother raped me. I'm going to grab some stuff and get a hotel room." I breathed.

"You are so stupid sometimes!" Elliot screamed, but I just slammed our bedroom door.

I was packing some clothes into my SVU duffel bag when the door opened slowly, and I heard sniffling. I turned around and a red-faced Eli stood there.

"Baby." I breathed.

"Livvie, where are you going?" He cried, and I frowned.

"I'm going to stay with a friend for a few days. Like when Lizzie or Dickie sleepover at their friend's house." I lied, and he nodded as he walked over and stretched his arms up to me. I picked him up and cuddled him close.

"Is it because of the yelling?" He asked. He was so innocent. So protected from the outside world and the trouble brewing in this marriage. God, this short-lived marriage.

"No baby. We are fine. Why don't you go back to your room? I'll see you before I leave." I spoke quietly. I kissed his curls before sitting him down on the floor. He ran out but came back after a few minutes, and I was finishing up.

"Livvie, take this with you?" He asked as he held up his favorite orange dinosaur.

"Baby, I can' take this! It's your favorite! You'll miss him." I replied as I knelt in front of him.

"But he's gonna miss you too!" He explained, and tears sprung to my eyes.

"Eli..." I trailed off, but he shoved the dinosaur in my hand, kissed my cheek and then ran off again.

I gathered my bags and walked out. Elliot stood by the front door, my keys in hand.

"I took your apartment key. I'll pack up the rest of your stuff and leave it at the station." Elliot spoke angrily.

"Okay." I swallowed hard before grabbing the keys from him.

I stood there for a moment before starting out the door. I stopped again and looked at him.

"Elliot, I love you," I mumbled before leaving, tears streaming down my cheeks.
