As Oliver and I returned, the team stood up at the sight of Nyssa.
"Oliver why is she here?" John asked
"She said she had something to show us. Something urgent" I replied "And Nyssa, before you even ask, there is no way in hell I am going back to Nanda Parbat with you. I fought for you once, now I am fighting for myself and my other friends" I told her.
"I understand. I received word from Malcolm that you were still here, so I thought you should see this before you see it for yourself" she said handing felicity the USB drive.
As the pictures downloaded, the first showed a lady with black hair back on, who dressed in a long black gothic looking dress.
Then the next shocked me. I seen Laurel. My sister is alive.
"Nyssa, Laurel is dead" I said not wanting to believe what I saw.
"I am completely aware. But on other earths, she is still alive. Trust me, this is not who you think this is. They call her The Black Siren. If I remember clearly, she can persuade someone by singing them her orders and when she screams, it is like your old canary cry. Just without the technology." She said
"Why are you showing us pictures of Laurel from another earth" Thea asked
"Because I was pitted in a battle against her last weak. Penetrated my hearing for four days after. Even with all her gothic makeup and black dresses, I seen Laurel within her soul. Very deep down, but it was present." Nyssa said
"So you think we can bring the old Laurel back through the siren?" Oliver said
"I believe so" she said "I have to return to the league. Malcolm will be wondering where iI've disappeared to this time. It was nice seeing you again Sara" she said walking out the door
"Yeah. You too" I said as the door closed on my voice.
"Guys. We need to get Laurel back. She can't continue living like this. Threatening others' lives with her voice.' Oliver said
"I agree. If I have any chance at getting my sister back, I am going to take it. Because most people don't get that opportunity. She was lucky enough to have me resurrected, now I get that " I said
"I am going to call Barry because in these pictures, I see clips of his suit." Felicity said kissing her fiancée as she walked out to call Barry.
As Oliver stood up, I went upstairs to comfort him.
"Ollie what the hell has been wrong with you lately? Since that visit you've been off the rails with your emotions"
"Sara. I killed Shado to save you"
"No you didn't."
"But I did. I chose to save you instead of her"
"Oliver I know that. But you can't let yourself feel guilty for that"
"I know. But when I told Mei, there was anger in her eyes. And obviously this is where it lead 3 years later"
"Oliver. We will take down Mei and get Laurel back."
"Speaking of, I'm going to call Constantine to see if he can do me another favour. It worked on you, maybe it will have the same effects on your sister" he said walking away. I was left alone.
"I called Barry. Apparently it's another containment issue. She broke the locking system down with her voice and escaped." Felicity said coming back.
"This isn't the first time?"
"No apparently Laurel 2 was here before during a time when Laurel 1 was still alive. but Barry sent her back to the pipeline to 'never hurt anyone else again'." She imitated his voice
"She better not be sent back this time. I am getting my sister back" I said standing up out of my chair.
"Don't worry. I told him to leave her to us this time" Felicity said as she sat back down in her desk.
"Listen I'm going home for the night. If any of you need me, I'm just a call away. Oh and Oliver, Lyla said to come back to my place cause we've got a little something something for you" Diggle said as Oliver traile behind him
"us too" Thea and Roy replied walking out behind him.
That left me and Felicity.
"Felicity. Since when have you been engaged?" I asked her noticing the huge rock on her hand
"Two years..." She said
"When is the wedding!!" I screamed. I always had a thing for weddings.
"We don't know. Oliver really wants to keep postponing it." she said
"Well, I am your new, free, wedding planer!" I said.
"Sara? How many weddings have you planned"
"When I was younger, um... way too many" I laughed remembering how Laurel and I used to play dress up. I was a nurse but on the side a wedding planner. I always believed in true love.
She laughed at me. "Fine. But don't tell Oliver just yet. It will be big but i want it to be a surprise"
"Want what to be a surprise?" Oliver said walking back in to grab his jacket
"Haha! I'm not the only one good at keeping secrets" she said with a huge grin on her face.
"Sara." Oliver said with a straight face.
I shook my head. Then smiled and turned around to see the monitor. My face turned serious once more.
"Oliver what did Constantine say"
"He said he would. But only when we have her in our care and under tranq arrow" He said
"Don't worry. We will find Laurel and get her back" I said putting my hand on his shoulder
Then there was a huge crash in the ceiling. A girl in black dropped down. As she lifted her face, I seen Laurel.
"II've heard you've been looking for Laurel. Well too bad she's not around anymore." Laurel said with a devilish grin on her face. "They call me the black siren. Here's why". Laurel then let out a scream so high pitched, the three of us fell to the ground leaving our hearing ruptured. When we finally recovered, she was gone. But then again, there was a message on the screen.
'LAUREL LANCE IS DEAD. AND DON'T COME AFTER ME. -BLACK SIREN' it read, then flickered as the power to the room went out. Followed by an evil laugh.
