"Ugh does anyone elses' ears feel like they are bleeding?" I asked holding on to the desk while trying to stand up.
They all nodded and groaned in agreement.
"Sara, what were we talking about before the... loudness." Felicity said putting on her glasses.
"Um something about you and..." I started only to see Oliver listening attentively through the corner of my eye. "OLIVER!" I shouted
"What? And quiet down" he said shocked
"This is between me and felicity. So get the hell out of here and into the car. I will drive Fel to the loft. John's probably left you" I told him while escorting him to the elevator
As soon as the elevator doors closed, I walked back over and pulled over a chair and a notepad.
"Your wedding Madame" I joked with her. She laughed. "So tell me what you want it to be themed."
"I want it to be big and extravagant. But still rustic and homey. Flowers. Ooh i definetley want flowers. How about lanterns. You've seen those cute little Chinese lanterns that couples release into the air right before they kiss at the altar. Definetley an evening reception because right after were done at the altar I wanna go eat!" she said.
I just laughed. "Okay so you want..." I started only to be cut off my the rambling Fel.
" And even though I am Jewish, it does not matter, we are celebrating both." She concluded
"Okay so big, extravagant, rustic, homey, flowers, and lanterns. I am picturing outdoors"
"Yes but I am super allergic to pollen. How about Coast city beach?" she suggested
"I like it. now guests?"
"Team arrow obviously, and team flash, oh we should invite Supergirl and all those guys. They are really sweet. And my parents, and then whoever else Ollie wants to invite. So probably Constantine and other rich people who I haven't armed to learn the names of" She rambled.
We went on like this for I would say a good hour and a half until felicity got a call from Oliver. She put it on speaker
"Hey Ollie you're on speaker with Sara." She said laying it in her lap
"Hey" I said
"Well I see you are super busy planning our wedding with the girl who almost took my job away and probably hasn't attended a wedding in the longest time in her life" Oliver said
"Hey! Not true, 1976, the team and I detoured since Dahrk was there and I was on my little revenge plan that didnt quite turn out as I hoped." I claimed "And I was an expert as this as a child. Just ask my father" Fel and I started to laugh
"Okay aside that, Oliver! We said no spying!" She said trying to hold back the cute laugh
"Well now we know who's best at the secrets cause John is helpings with Lyla's cake flavours." He said evidently with a mouthful of cake
"WHAT CAKE ARE WE GETTING!?" Felicity shouted. She was hungry.
"I don't know. Come over and eat some with me. You too Sara" Ollie said and Felicity was rushing to pack.
"Wow you are quick" I said hanging up
"My stomach is telling me to hurry up" She admitted
As we drove to Lyla and Diggle's place, our stomachs growled even more.
"GIVE US CAKE!" Fel and I shouted as we bursted through the door
"Hello to you both as well. Don't wake baby Digg though" Lyla said carrying the baby to the cradle.
For the longest time, OTA, Lyla and I sat down discussing the wedding. Every single aspect of it.
We came to the conclusion; it will be outdoors in August since that's the nicest time of year in Coast City, there will be no lantern tossing because Oliver has a fear of flames catching trees and causing an accidental forest fire, we would invite everyone who helped with the invasion, including supergirl and her team, and there would be Neapolitan cake with vanilla icing.
"So what kind of style do you want? Felicity said big and extravagant yet rustic and homey with flowers" I asked
"Oh my god you are crazy. Just do something nice and floral" Oliver replied. Nice and floral. I could do that.
"So you want the wedding in two months?" I asked since it was June.
"Sure" They said. "I mean the weather will be lovely in coast city cause its coast city. when is it not nice there!" Felicity added
My phone rang. I looked at it. "excuse me" I said backing away from the table. it was a blocked id.
"Um hello... Sara lance speaking" I said quietly.
"Sara. It's me. Shado. I don't know where I am but there was a number in a book so I called you since your name was the only one I know. It says Nyssa on the front but I don't know what that means. I need you" A girl who sounded like Shado spoke as though she was suffering.
"Shado? No you died cause Ollie saved me" I said
"You don't understand. Some water brought me back but now people are chasing me. Im flying to Washington tomorrow. Come alone, I need your help" Shado said hanging up the phone.
I stared at it. Questioning the entire convorsation.
"Who was that?" Oliver asked
"Shado" I said. The expression on Ollie's face replicated mine. Worried.
