First Nightfall: The Meeting

Two shadow figures passes through the wood running as if they were in a hurry and one of them suddenly stops to nags once again.

"You suppose to be with your father, Carl Vincent!" it said so many times as they entered the woods and its getting in to his nerves that irritates his ears. "So, let's go back and–––"

Carl Vincent turned around to face him and this time he's so serious. "Get lose." He coldly said.

"No." it firmly answered ignoring his cold shoulder that made him sighs heavily.

"Aren't you tired following me?" he asked instead.

"No. I am not." it answered that irritates him a lot. "And besides it was your father's order so I won't live you alone." It added.

He harshly breathed as he turns his back at him. "But I want to be alone."

"But you cannot," it said. "Besides, today is the day you're going to meet your soon to be fiancé so we should head back now."

"That I don't want to–––" he suddenly cuts himself for some reason.

"What is it?" he heard Jefferson asked.

"I think I heard something," he answered as he tries to figure it out.

"There could be some–––"

"Silent." He said that cuts it off and as the silence came in he heard it once again. "You go ahead and make sure to come out a good excuse for my father. Okay?" he said instead.

"What!" it surprisingly answered that he secretly smiled.

"Well, I know how good you are when it comes to excuses, so, take care of it for me," he answered with a wide smile. "And I'll bet my life into your hands, my dear cousin." He firmly added before he vanishes into the woods.

"Oh, come on! Carl Vincent!" he heard him shouted but he ignores it and run to find that mysterious sound he just heard.

For some reason it made his blood excited even his heart skips a beat hearing it and that made him to smiles like never before. And for that reason, no one or nothing can stop me to find and see who owned that sound. So please, Jeff let me go with this one. He silently talks to himself as he headed towards the place where the mysterious sound heard much louder.

"Dos corazones. Dos almas. Pero siempre es major que uno. Y siempre estar juntos en una sola alma, no importa lo lejos que están."

The dark shadow commented as it continues watching those two from a far and just waited for the right time for the two lost soul finally met once again.

As he was searching for the person who owned that mysterious sound, Carl Vincent finds himself standing at the edge of a cliff where the sound stops. Then he saw something at the edge and it is seems it isn't something but it was someone who's standing at the edge.

"What was that person doing––– oh! Darn it!" he got surprised when he saw it jump out of the cliff and he knows how deep it is and no human can live after the fall so he rushes to catch that person to save it.

In a flash he catches that person and they both landed safely into the ground with so much ease. As if he was just carrying a leaf from his hands because of it lightness that he couldn't imagine how light it is. As if he was mystify with a powerful spell that he couldn't give a name.
