The Councils...

One of the rules in the Council is to let the children from each of the Clan Leaders to be engage at the age of ten to strengthen their position at the Councils and as a leader. And each of the Clan Leaders has the one to decide which of the clans they have to choose to marry their child.

The Vampire Clan and the Hybrid Clan already had engage their child and as they promise they would formally meet each other at the age of thirteen and the official announces would be on their sixteenth birthday. Though that rule can be change if the Center Council would oppose on it with a valid reason for the Councils and that is the only way an engagement would be broken.

That is what Carl Victor Lodernbergh waiting to be done since that he opposes it from the start even if he was one of the Councils still he was one of the eight leaders voted not to pass that rule. Because he still believes that their children had the freedom to choose on their own, to find what their hearts desires to and that is what he give to his son, Carl Vincent Lodernbergh to fall in love. He doesn't want him to force to do the things that it doesn't like and he already told him that he'll wait until it finds someone who chooses it.

Although Carl Victor knows it would also ruin his reputation to their clan if he openly let his son choose on his own. The reason why he chooses the one that his son would be engage and it is his friend and a co-hunter Mateo Crimson from the Hybrid Clan, one of the Eight Councils.

Now as his son and the daughter of Crimson Family age thirteen the two had finally introduce to each other personally. Though things had change, and Carl Victor already notices it from the start because Carl Vincent already changes and he guests that his son finally chosen someone else.

Crimson Mansion...

"It seems his already found someone else," he heard someone speaks from his back.

Carl Victor give him a smile. "It seems so. Well we couldn't stop their hearts to choose even if we already made up this arrangement."

"Indeed. And it seems that it was not the right time to let them meet personally since that my daughter Jessica suddenly gone."

He laughs. "They both alike in some ways." He joked.

"Well, you were right about it," Mateo agreed as it laughs.

"Then maybe we should just postpone it for today and let's schedule them for another day." He suggested.

"I agree with you." it simply answered before it offers him a drink before they live.

Carl Vincent wanders around and had nothing in mind when he suddenly stops by someone he already forgets.

"Hey!" it shouted madly. "What do you think you were doing?" it irritably asked him that he finally notice her.

"Alright," he turned around to face her. "First, I am sorry if I ignoring you. Second, I'll be frank with you. Third, I was force to be here with you. Forth, I appreciate your time and effort to see and meet me. And fifth, now that I already told you everything that you have to know about me, I have to go. So, it was nice to meet you." he answered without letting her to interrupt.

"Huh!" then she hisses. "You're rude!"

"Thanks if that is what you mean." Then he smiles at her that makes it more irritable.

"You...! Ah! That's it! I decided!" it firmly stated.

"What?"
