... ... ...

What is the reason behind my dreams?

Carl Vincent silently asked himself while looking above the night sky.

"What are you thinking, Vince?" he heard Yna asking who's just been sitting beside him.

He smiles at her. "Just wondering why aren't you afraid of me?" he curiously asked because what just did happened earlier when she hugs him while his eyes glowing in red and even if he stares through her eyes it didn't flinch at all.

"Because I knew you wouldn't hurt me," it simply answered then turns it eyes back in the night sky as it sighs heavily.

"What is it?"

"Nothing..." it answered that made him more curious to know the reason behind her heavily sighs.

"Just tell me. It might help you to ease your burden." He speaks and Yna looks up to him.

It smiles then. "You know that this has to end soon."

From the tone that he heard he knew what she was trying to tell him.

"Wouldn't be enough if we could stay like this... as a friend." He said almost whispered from his last words.

"I know what you were trying to say but, can't you see that this isn't just a simple friend that you were trying to imply." Then it holds his hand. "Vince," it seriously looks through his eyes. "We both know that it isn't just a feeling of a friend that we have. But it is more than that and by that reason we shouldn't let ourselves continue seeing each other because we both know what would be the ending. So, let us–––"

"Don't speak any words again." He said and holds its hand too. "I don't care what would happen to me if I oppose to that engagement because it was you that matters the most." He sincerely stated but Yna shakes it head.

"No, you couldn't do that." It said. "Because without an order coming from the Center Councils, you don't have the right to oppose to it mostly that our both families already introduces us together."

"But–––"

"No, buts Vince." It said cutting him off. "We can be friends but not that long because we only have a year to stay like this."

... ... ...

One year later...

"El viento. Trae un mensaje que pondrá en marcha una tormenta enorme para todos."

"Indeed, Lady Samantha."

Mrs. Samantha Fallenrode a Sorceress wife of Lord Simon Fallenrode the first head of the Sorcerer/Sorceress Clan before she took its place after her husband's death.

"We should prepare for the upcoming storm, Olga." She answered.

"What do you want me to do, Lady Samantha?" Olga one of her loyal servant, asked with its head down.

She stands up from her chair and stands besides the window. "Inform my daughter and she knows what to do." She ordered and Olga obeys it before she was left alone. "How far are you going to stand by her side, Lady Sky?"

From the dark corner of her office Sky emerges and showed itself. "You've didn't change at all, Lady Samantha." It answered.

A smile formed from her lips before she faces her. "I'm also a Sorceress and it won't change no matter what."
