Valentine's Day Special

Valentine's day started out pretty boring for Pisces.

She had been so busy at work the last couple of days she hadn't even realized that it was Valentine's day. Scorpio had gone out of town for a business trip and he wouldn't be coming back for another week.

As she sat at her desk, Pisces was missing Scorpio. They had been in a relationship for almost two years now, and things couldn't be better. They were so perfectly happy together and in love, that Pisces couldn't believe they hadn't been doing this all along.

As she reminisced, she realized she wanted Scorpio by her side on Valentine's day.

She called him and a female voice spoke on the other side.

"Hey Millie, is Scorp there? I wanna talk to him about something", Pisces said.

Millie, Scorpio's assistant, coldly replied, "You can't speak to him right now, he is in a meeting. He'll talk to you later", and the line went dead.

Pisces put her phone in her purse and decided to go home and, feeling disappointed, gathered her things.

As she came out of the building, her phone rang. It was Cancer. She picked up the phone and said, "Hey Cance, what's up?".

"Pie! Go home and get ready. In a few hours, you and I are going out on a date. Our men aren't here so we'll spend today without those sobs. We'll do Gal-entine's day today", Cancer screamed.

"Why? Where's Aries?"

"He is gonna be at the gym. Anyway see you in an hour or so".

"Okay, bye".

*Two hours later*

Pisces put a great turquoise dress and heels on. She decided she would go all out. Her phone buzzed and she saw a text from Cancer, saying that the can was downstairs waiting. She hurried out the door and met Cancer downstairs.

"So what are we gonna do?" Pisces asked as they hugged.

"Oh you'll see" Cancer winked.

They sat in the cab and started going. Pisces was confused. "Where are we going?" She asked.

"All in due time, honey", Cancer said.

Pisces nodded. She kept checking her phone to see if Scorpio had called or left a message. Cancer noticed that and said, "What's wrong?".

Pisces shook her head and said, "Nothing, it's just, Scorpio hasn't called all day and I'm getting a little worried".

Cancer shrugged and said, "Well, he must be busy or something".

Pisces nodded, "Yeah I thought so too. I don't know. I was hoping for at least a message".

"Well, forget about him, we'll have fun. It's been a while since just the two of us went out".

Pisces realized she was right, but couldn't help but feel sad. She hated not spending such an amazing day with the man she loved. Nevertheless, she smiled and said, "Yeah you are right. Let's tear this town apart. But in a safe and sound manner".

Cancer laughed. Soon they were outside Central Park.

Pisces frowned and asked, "What are we doing here?". "There is this great cheese and wine thing going on here. It's under that big Gazebo over there".

Pisces looked to where she was pointing, and it was beautiful. The gazebo was decorated top to bottom. With pretty green and blue colors and lighting. As she got out of the cab, she saw someone standing under the gazebo, his back turned to her, right in the centre. The cab drove away, and Cancer had disappeared.

Pisces was now confused. She went up the steps. The man in front of her turned, now facing her.

It was Scorpio. He was smiling the sweetest smile he had smiled. Pisces felt shocked, then angry. Then she smiled. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him.

After what felt like eternity, Scorpio let go of her. She tried to kiss him again, but he pushed her away. "Pie, sweety, wait".

But Pisces couldn't wait. She was so excited. "I love you so much. And Cancer for helping you plan this surprise. I'm going to kill her, but I love her", she exclaimed.

"This isn't the big surprise, honey", Scorpio smiled.

Pisces' eyes went wide and she said, "It isn't?!".

Scorpio shook his head.
"This is", he said, as he got down on one knee.

Pisces gasped.

"Pisces. I fell in love with you, the moment I met you. You have always been the one for me. You have literally saved my life. You have made me the happiest man on earth. And if you would give me the honor to make you the happiest girl on earth, I would do anything to fulfill it. I love you Pisces. To the end of the world and back. Will you be my wife?" Scorpio let out in one breath.

Pisces' hands were on her mouth. Tears swelled in her eyes.
"Of course! Of course I'll marry you! I love you!", Pisces almost screamed.

Scorpio chuckled excitedly and put the ring on her finger. It was the most beautiful diamond ring, Pisces had ever seen. Scorpio got up and kissed her, and she kissed him back, just melting in each other's arms.

From behind the gazebo, her friends came out. Everyone had come, and they had been hiding all this while.

As Pisces got drowned in the crowd and the excited chatter, her eye caught Scorpio's, who was standing outside the circle. They smiled at each other, and in that moment Pisces knew that this was her happiest day ever, and it was only gonna get better.
