This is the first chapter of my newer story. I have 7 for this one so far but like my other one, they are unedited other than by myself so I apologize for any spelling or grammatical errors. This is also my first time writing anything like this so I'm sorry if it's not the best.

"Alpha Don, Beta Micheal." A young man entered his study in a rush and was anxiously waiting to speak. Don looked from his Beta sitting across his desk to John standing in the doorway.

"What is it?" His tone was light but disapproving. He didn't like his personal time to be interrupted unless it was important.

"We caught scent of a rogue about an hour ago on the afternoon patrol. We just sent out hunters out in the direction th scent was heading and it seems their tailing the rogue now. They're waiting to strike until you are present."

"Good. Tell then to restrain but do not harm the rogue unless it's needed. I'm on my way." Don nodded to his Beta and they headed out.

As he and Micheal approached the clearing a loud, feral growl could be heard. A few wolves from his pack had a rather large feme-wolf surrounded. They parted so he and Micheal could get closer.

The rusty colored fur was matted and tangled but stood up all over. Drool was dripping from her jawls. As Don and Micheal approached, the rogue sensed their power and stopped growling but held her large head high, showing no signs of submission.

Micheal moved his furry body to stand infront of Don as the Alpha shifted, blocking his naked body from view.

"I am Alpha of this land. I don't want to harm you but I will if you give me reason." He spoke with authority, hoping to calm the creature.

The feme-wolf sat but kept her nose up with a smug twinkle in her golden eyes, as if to say he was no threat.

"Shift." He comanded, using the full force of his Alpha power. A wolf to his left growled when she did nothing. Don held his hand up to silence the hunter while holding her gaze. She did no back down but nor did she give any reason to be thought dangerous.

    *Curious*

Her eyes darted around the area to all the wolves watching her, trying to tell him something. When he finally understood he felt kind of stupid.

*"Too many watchful eyes for our prideful little rogue to shift."* He spoke to Micheal with the pack's mind link, a hint of a smile in his tone.

*"So what do we do? We can't let her go."* He spoke back.

"Come." Was all he said before shifting back and making his way back toward his home. Micheal followed on his heels while the rest surrounded the rogue but kept their distance.

Don spoke with John about the situation through the mind link on their way back. As soon as they emerged from the trees, John was there waiting with a bundle of clothes.

Don and Micheal both shifted and dressed before turning to the rogue. She sat lazily infront of them with six watchful hunters ten feet behind her.

John threw a large T-shirt in her direction. She shifted just in time to catch it between her fingers and quickly slip it over her shoulders. The hem barely covered her bottom but she stood proud.

No one seemed concerned about her lack of clothing, not as much as her appearance. Don was expecting... Well he didn't know what exactly but not her.

By the size of her wolf he thought she would be older, or at least bigger. Yet the feme-wolf before him was only a teenager, a small one at that. Her presence wasn't affected by her small frame. She had an air of confidence, maybe even a bit cocky. Her hair was fire-engine red with black underneath, a few strands had beads covering them and some had feathers sticking out like an indian. It was thick, long, and in very urgent need of being brushed and washed. Scratches, dirt, and maybe even some spots of dried blood covered her exposed skin. All in all she looked like a normal rogue.
