The sound of the door opening awoke Rhiley from a dream she couldn’t recall. She was about to sit up and tell whoever it was to get out of her room but an arm tightened around her from behind, drawing her back up against a sculpted, warm, and very naked male body.
Squealing, she tried to roll away quickly and ended up on the floor. The cool wood flooring brought her attention to her own naked self. Slowly, memories of her heated midnight snack came to her. A deep chuckle sounded from the door way and she looked up at Jackson standing there. She threw a pillow at Tyler’s head to wake him up.
He groaned and looked up with his eyes still half closed. “Oh, hey man. What’s up?” He greeted Jackson, totally oblivious to a naked red head hiding on the floor.
“I came to wake up Rhiley. There are a couple things that need taken care of.” Jackson failed to hold back an amused grin. He knew exactly what went on the night before. The room reeked of sex.
“I’ll be there in a minute.” Rhiley mumbled.
“Take your time.” He gave a small wave on his way out.
“What are you doing on the floor? And why are you naked?” Tyler wasn’t shy about peaking over the edge of the bed.
“I didn’t have anything on to begin with. You would’ve ripped it off last night anyway. He came in and scared me.” She crossed her arms over her breasts to hide herself.
“What do you mean I would’ve ripped them off?” He sat up and stretched his arms over his head. She scolded herself for drooling over him and glared.
“You couldn’t keep your hands off me.” She scoffed.
“From what I recall, you weren’t exactly telling me to stop.” He grinned, seeing satisfied with himself.
“It’s not like I had a choice in the matter. Wasn’t exactly in control.” She muttered. Tyler was quiet for a moment while her words sunk in. She knew the moment it clicked. His eyes widened and his face instantly paled.
“Shit! Rhiley….” He jumped up, stark naked and ran his hands through his already tousled hair.
“Shit.” She mimicked him the second he turned his back to her. Surrounded by patches of dried blood on the back of his shoulder was the colorful mark of a wolf, Rhiley’s wolf.
So many questions filled her head, making it ache as much as her body. How did she mark him if he has a mate? Whether he’s found her or not it shouldn’t have happened. And it was colorful, black and blue. The colors of an Alpha. What does that mean?
Feeling her anxiety, he turned around and got worried when he saw her face. “What’s wrong? …. Rhiley, I don’t know what to say. I couldn’t control myself. I’m sorry.” He was officially freaking out. He practically raped her. Marcus was going to kill him if she didn’t first.
“Your shoulder.” She whispered, still puzzled.
He raised an eyebrow and walked into the bathroom on the other side of the room to look in the mirror. She got on the bed and covered herself before he came back out. He sat on the edge of the bed, looking just as frazzled as her.
“Let’s talk to Alpha Don about it?” It was the only thing she could think of to do. All he did was nod in agreement.
After fussing over what to do for clothes, he noticed two neatly folded piles on the desk. At this point, being shy wasn’t even a consideration. Both of them shrugged and went to get dressed. Tyler’s family, probably his mom had given him a white T-shirt and a nice pair of light colored blue jeans that Rhiley noticed, with a smile, were snug in the back. She frowned at her own outfit. Baggy sweats, a sports bra, and an old T-shirt. Definitely Marcus’ decision.
