Fast, heavy footsteps approached her from behind.
“Hey!” A very angry looking Cassidy was closing in. She could almost see the waves of rage coming off her.
“What do you-“ She didn’t get to finish. Cassidy interrupted her by pushing hard on her chest. She wasn’t even on the ground yet and the pissed off brunette was already screaming.

“It took me years to get to the top! You’re here for barely five months and you already have his attention!”

As soon as Rhiley stood up, she got slapped.

“Oh you have GOT to be kidding me.” She took deep breaths, trying not to fight back.

“I hate you!” Cassidy made a move on her but Rhiley pushed her away.

“I don’t want your stupid boy toy. Get that through your thick head.”

She really didn’t want to fight but Cassidy ran at her again. There was no way around it. Rhiley punched her in the side of the head before she could get too close but her nails cut her cheek open. It would heal quickly but it was still a bad move on Cassidy’s part.

Rhiley jumped on her, causing the two to fall. She landed on Cassidy’s stomach and got two or three punches in before getting flipped over onto her back. She grabbed a handful of her red hair and punched her in the eye. What happened next was a blur for Rhiley. Cassidy got a hand around her hand around her throat and dug her nails in. That was the only place on her body Rhiley didn’t let anyone touch. Not even Abrahm.

She lashed out at Cassidy and heard a crack as her knuckles connected with her nose. There was someone yelling but it sounded far away. Rhiley sat on Cassidy’s chest and got two more hits in before Cassidy managed to roll over onto her stomach. She tried to crawl away but now sitting on her back, Rhiley grabbed a handful of brown hair and started repeatedly smashing her once pretty face into the ground.

Someone’s arms wrapped around Rhiley’s abdomen and the voice sounded closer now. Whoever got there had to forcefully take Rhiley’s hands off the back of Cassidy’s head. Her feet suddenly weren’t on the ground anymore. She thrashed and dug her nails into the arms around her. The person fell backwards but rolled over, pressing their whole body on her to keep her on the ground.

Now that she couldn’t move, two male wolves went to pick up Cassidy’s unconscious, bloody, body. One of them, she noticed, was Jackson.

“Keep your bitch away from me! The next time she comes near me will be the last!” Her voice was rough, and animalistic. She was breathing hard. Between what just happened and the body on her back cutting off her air supply, it was hard to breathe. Her heart was definitely beating too fast to be healthy. It all became too much. Everything went black.

Jax heard the yelling before his father called his name. By the time he reached the back yard the situation was pretty bad. Alpha Don was struggling to pull Rhiley off Cassidy. Jax ran over and helped pull the brunette locks from her fist.
