(Chapter 2)

"We should be landing in North Carolina in 15 mins. " The pilot says on the radio thingy.

Finally. Stop after stop. Hour after hour. We're finally here!!

We finally land and we get into the airport and the coldness hit me.

We get our bag and all our stuff at baggage claim.

We get our car and drive to our new house.

"We're here!"

The house is so big!

Bigger than the houses in Hawaii.

"Hello North Carolina."

We all jump out of our car. "Woah." We all say.

"I GET THE BIG ROOM!!" we all dart into the house.

"I GET THIS ONE!"

"I GET THIS ONE!"

"I GET THIS ONE!"

My room is pretty big. Bigger than one back home.

"Help unpack the car!" Dad yells from downstairs.

We all unpack the car and move our furniture in our rooms in less than 3 hours. Impressive.

My room was set up and clean. #boom

I laid down on my bed and went on Instagram. My friends were posting pictures of back home and it just made me cry. I started to cry so hard I fell asleep.

***(Spongebob voice) 3 HOURS LATER***

"Lauryn.Lauryn. Lauryn. LAURYN!" I feel someone shaking me.

"What do you want Marcus?"

"Mom just came back from the store. Dinners ready."

"Ugh okay."

I walk downstairs for dinner.

"PIZZA!!!"

"First uncooked dinner from mom? wow."

My mom loves to cook.

"Just for tonight!"

We all sit down at the table.

"Just a reminder we are gonna meet the neighbors around here tomorrow."

"Ugh."

"Please no."

"Ew. Socialization."

We all groan.

"C'mon guys!! Wanna have friends here?"

"Ugggghhhhh."

"Then it's a yes!" Mom says happily. woop.

After dinner ended I went upstairs and went to sleep crying again. Yay.

--- NEXT MORNING ---

"RISE AND SHINE FAMILY!"

I smell bacon. Mmmhh.

We all rush downstairs for breakfast and start stuffing our faces.

"So good mom!"

"Thanks. Don't forget neighbors after breakfast."

"I thought you would forget about that." Lexi says still eating.

"No I didn't and stop talking with your mouth full."

"Sorry."

"After breakfast get ready and we are going."

Ugh.

I go upstairs wash up and change into my blue denim high waisted shorts , my white crop top, my blue toms, and my hair in a ponytail. I put a little makeup on an went downstairs.

"Let's go!"

It was just me , my mom, and Lexi.

Marcus got to stay home with dad. Lucky.

After about 10 mins we met about 4 neighbors. They were all really nice. But no one my age.

"Let's go to that one." Lexi says pointing.

We walk up and mom rings the doorbell.

A lady about moms age , carrying one of the cutest little girl ever answers. "Why hello there! What can I help you guys with?"

"Hi! I'm Cheyenne! These are my daughters Lexi and Lauryn. We just moved in a wanted to introduce us to the neighbors."

"Oh my goodness! So nice to meet y'all. I'm Elizabeth. And this is Skylynn. Say hi skylynn!"

"Hi!" she says waving. Cute!!!

"She's so cute!" I say.

"Would you guys like to come in and talk more?"

"Sure!"

We enter. Big. Nice. Man I love North Carolina.

"Tea anyone?" she says as we sit in the living room.

"Yes please!" mom says

"No thanks." me and Lexi say and pull out our phones.

Mom and Elizabeth our having a convo about something. I didn't really pay attention.

"Mom who was that at the do-"

A boy with brown hair and beautiful blue eyes comes downstairs. He's looks like Lexi's age. She looks up from her phone and just sits there staring at him.

**LEXI'S POV**

"Mom who was that at the do-"

I look up and see the most beautiful boy ever.

So what? I broke up with Jackson.

He walks into the living room.

"Oh I'm sorry. Nash this is Mrs. Parker. And these are her daughters Lauryn and Lexi."

"Hi."

"Hi."

I say shaking his hand and staring into his eyes. gosh he's beautiful.

**NASHS POV**

Who is this girl ? she is gorgeous. Lexi? Man that's hot.

"Nash, Lexi is 16 too."

Plus she's my age? KEEPER.

I shook her sisters hand. She looks about Hayes' age.

"Umm. mom? where's hayes?"

"He's at football practice. he should be home soon."

**YOUR POV**

We all sit back down and start talking.

Then all of a sudden the front door opens. and in walks in a boy with black hair and beautiful blue eyes walks in.

"I'm hom-" I staring at the most beautify boy ever.

"Hi." he says never taking his eyes off me.

"Hi." I say doing the same.
