Chapter 5

"Nick?" He asks with a confused face.

"Hayes!" I say acting innocent. When I'm clearly not.

"Have you been talking to Nick?"

"Maybe.. What's with it with you?"

"Lauryn." He pulls me away from everyone.

"What?"

"Nick is known for a... specific reputation."

"What kind if reputation?"

"Well let's say.. he's had 3 girlfriends in the past year."

"And?"

"At the same time."

I was shocked. That sweet innocent boy? A player??? That's not true.

"...Maybe he's over it." I say trying to reason with him.

"Really?"

"Hayes, you've got to give people a chance."

"Lauryn!... you know what? Nevermind. It's not my fault when you get hurt." Hayes says and walks away to talk to my brother.

My brother and him are beginning to become best friends.

But other than that... ME GET HURT??? Hayes doesn't see how innocent Nick is.

But one thing remains...

Do I like nick or hayes?
