After breakfast, we all jumped into the car. But this time Marcus sat next to Hayes and I sat where Marcus used to sit.

"Dad? Where are we going?"

"You'll see."

Just hearing the laughter of hayes and Marcus made me mad.

So I decided to text nick.

while I waited for him to reply I went on Instagram and saw that Hayes posted a new pic.

It was a pic of him and Marcus with the caption "hangin out with the best today @marcpark "

I didn't bother to like it.

New Message: Nick

heeey! what's up?

After that me and Nick were texting the whole ride to our destination.

"We're here!"

"The Field?" Lexi says.

"Yeah! we thought the boys would like to practice before the big game on saturday!"

ugh.

We all get out of the car and us girls sit on the grass watching the boys practice.

"Nice Hayes!" Marcus says.

"That's all you bro!"

Now hayes is calling him bro? well.. I think all guys do that.. BUT NOT MY BROTHER.

I was so, so, so... JEALOUS.

I guess seeing Hayes having fun with someone else really made me hurt. Did I like him that much?

After spending the whole day at the field , we all went over to our house for dinner. mom is making cheeseburgers. yum!! (:

I went upstairs in my room and went on tumblr.

I heard laughter and yelling from the room next door.

They're probably playing video games..

I plugged in my earphones into my computer and started listening to Ariana Grande's album "Yours Truly". it was my favorite album.

I turned it up loud enough to not here anything else but the music.

I was scrolling through my dashboard and all of a sudden someone comes through my door.

Hayes.

I take off my earphones.

"Knock much?"

"I did. But you were too busy listening to your music you couldn't here me."

".. What do you want?" I said in a very annoyed voice.

"Your mom said come downstairs dinner is ready."

"Okay..."

I continue scrolling. but he's still here.

"Lauryn, listen." he closes the door and sits on my bed.

"I hate ignoring you." he says shutting my laptop.

"Then why do you?"

"I don't know?... I guess.. seeing you with nick made me .. jealous."

Hayes? Jealous?

"Really?.."

"Yeah.. and you know that thing I was gonna tell you today."

"Yeah?"

"Well..." he pauses and scratches the back of his neck nervously.

"Well??"

"Well... I - I - I... like you."

*FANGIRLSVVSHBSHZJS*

"Really?"

"..Yeah. From the day I saw you in my living room. I guess it's what they say 'love at first sight'."

LOVE????

"love?"

"...Yeah." he says looking down.

"Hayes.."

"If you don't like me I get it I -"

"I like you too."

"What?"

"I felt the same way when I met you too."

"Really?.."

"Yeah."

He looks me in the eyes. He starts to lean closer and closer until I close my eyes and I feel his lips on my mine.

It's like it's meant to be.
