"Don't answer." I told her getting up from the bed.
"Why?" She questioned sitting up.
"Lauryn , I love you.. I insist you don't."
She looks at the phone and slowly places it down on her bed.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"everything."
I smile as she stands up and looks into my eyes.
I grab her by her waist and bring her closer to me as she wraps her arms around my neck.
"Anything for my princess."
Her smile is the medicine I've longed for my entire life.
She pecks my lips and places her head gently in the creek of my neck.
I kiss the top of her head as we both close our eyes.
