..~*~..
Scuffle. Creaks. Swipe. Peek.
The deserted neighborhood met green eyes, and the starry night sky casted a calming aura that had always remained successful in keeping everyone asleep. However, amidst all that, one successfully remained immune from its tender breaths, her eyes wide as flying saucers and forever as attentive.
Dressed only with her sleeping attire: a simple baggy brown shirt and some matching color shorts, Virgo had to make sure to be quiet at this point. If her parents caught her awake at 3 in the morning, they will flip, and she can't have it that way. As she stealthily kept her eyes on her target, her eyes narrowed into slits, focusing intently on a specific house. And that house is none other than her seat mate in her class.
Scorpio.
She doesn't know why but every time she would glance at him, he had his eyes away from everyone, always focusing outside the window. And she, being the curious one would also take a glimpse outside, wondering what could have taken his interest to look outside that much. But there is nothing. Nothing that interested her, which was quite intriguing for her own part. Whatever was out there that made him so mysterious and yet attentive in such a way like how a child dreams probably acquires something with such involvement in his life. However, she can't still be sure though.
He was just so different; almost as if he knows everything but was intending to keep it for himself, and you can't help but feel curious and be drawn with the aura that he acquires. Something was screaming within him but everyone can't hear it but Virgo knew that she did. Something tells her that he is more than meets the eyes. And she's determined to find that out.
A bright light illuminating through the glass window was enough to take Virgo's attention. She was beginning to tire that she almost decided to just continue her stalking purposes for another time. She leaned in more at her window, her palm laying flat on the cool surface. She could clearly see a shadowy silhouette hovering the curtains, and to the leaping of her heart, the curtains were brushed aside and behind it was none other than Scorpio in all his glory.
He seemed very alert and reserved, judging at the way how he calmly glances at his left and right as if he's looking for any signs of living souls in the streets that would probably disrupt his—whatever he has in mind. Virgo was beginning to become more suspicious and curious. What is he thinking about? What is going on with that pretty little head of his—
She almost elicited a gasp, her body moving away from an eyeshot in precise timing when Scorpio's electric blue eyes suddenly shifted at her window. Her breathing grew shallow in nervousness and the beating of her heart was loud that she could definitely hear it from the quiescent room. She counted to 10 to make Scorpio fully convinced that there was no one watching him before peeking at her window again. What she saw made her breath hitched.
