Me: Worldwide (instrumental) by Big Time Rush inspired and motivated me to write this one shot. You don't know how sentimental I was when I wrote this.

..~*~..
The quiet proscenium brought strange calmness in her heart and the dome's lights flashing onto her lulls her in sweet ignorance. Ethereal music begins to play around the whole proscenium once her fingers glided and press each keys of the ebony piano, the only company she has now in this very moment. She could feel it; the soul of the piano igniting something within her. It was a familiar feeling, embedded in her memory like it has been a part of her life. Belongingness and euphoria of having to play—of having to know her long-lost other half for over the course of time.
It felt so surreal, so nonviable, to think that all of this her love for music happening for just one man—one man who had become one of her inspiration and an emblem in her life. One of the men she had kept in her heart for many years, which showed her the purpose of life and her significance in it. The man she has dedicated this music piece that she had spent many nights trying to pour all her sincere feelings, hoping that the music could reach his heart like how he did once.
A nostalgic smile begins to form and the music starts to become more powerful and intense as she threw herself in the music. And like the cosmos in an abyss, she felt herself delving and falling forward with the music, and a door deep in the crevices of her mind opens up for her.
Music from the past engulfs her.
..~*~..
People of different heights, age, genders and looks bustled along the hallway, their voices mingling with each other. Each voice has different unique stories to tell, but there's one whose story begins to take its course. A voiceless girl with a dormant nature who refuses to take part of any activities that would expose her entire life.
Her eyes are attentive and shining for everyone to see, but deep inside that windows lay a screaming soul, yearning for someone to acknowledge her and yet, it refuses to take any action; creeping deep in her shadows until it all disappears without a trace.
Her heart, stone hard and unfeeling, remained in isolation for far too long. Experiences and tragic courses had prevented her from taking risks, always going to the safe lane, not giving her a chance. Forever she did build walls, up, up, UP to the sky, picking up any bricks that people had thrown on her, making use of it as a barrier shrouding her sensitive heart. People didn't acknowledge her. They didn't know, and continued judging of what they see.
But then, the most beautiful music reached her ears, and she faltered, a feeling she hasn't felt for so long was beginning to sift from the nooks of her core. She felt...at ease, belonged and euphoric; the tendrils of the music luring her along the corridor with its angelic tunes. Taken by mesmerization, her legs moved, her eyes searched, and her heart reached, her soul touched by a welcoming voice of a piano.
One more key pressed, her walls splintered, crumbling in a slow pace; her eyes seeing lights once more after dwelling in the dark for so long. And another key was pressed, one step closer, and the music grew louder and clearer; until she reached a music room, a boy her age, playing the piano as if it was destined for him to do so. The music beckoned for her, and she relented, unable to disobey its sweet voice.
Then the music stopped.
The girl's breath hitched.
Ice blue eyes shifted to hers.
