"What do you think?" Faith said anxiously.

Anya stood still for a moment. Then, in one swift motion she threw her arms around Faith. "Thank you thank you thank you!"

Faith laughed quietly, squeezed her friend back gently and then let go of her a second later. "Careful, you'll ruin your makeup."

Anya was about to reply when the doorbell rang. Both the girls turned towards the sound, the excitement on their faces evident.

"It's time for you to go," Faith gave her an encouraging smile

"It's time for you to go," Faith gave her an encouraging smile.

After giving her a hug one last time, Anya headed downstairs while Faith trailed a few steps behind her.

She threw open the front door and found herself staring into a pair of captivating blue eyes.

"Wow," Aiden said, his features lighting up as he took her appearance in. "You look beautiful."

Anya felt her cheeks redden as she looked down at her Converse shyly. "Thanks, you do too."

"You think I'm beautiful?" He laughed. "That's good to know, I'm so flattered."

And just like that, the awkwardness melted away as she laughed, shoving him lightly. "Shut up."

"Whatever you say, Brooks," he winked, then pretended to zip his lips shut and throw away the key.

Anya didn't reply, choosing to only shoot him a smile.

"Bye, mum! Bye, Faith," she bellowed. The last thing she saw before she closed the front door was Faith grinning like a maniac and giving her a thumbs up. She rolled her eyes and turned back to the gorgeous boy who was waiting for her. "So where are we going?"

Aiden only shook his head and tapped his lips as a reminder.

"Oh shut up already, you can talk now!" She giggled.

He smirked. "Which will it be? Do you want me to shut up or talk?"

"I want you to tell me where we are going."

"We're going back to where we met up the first time," he said cheerfully. "We're having ice cream at Central Park."

"Well, atleast I know you won't be late this time," she mumbled, earning herself a playful shove from Aiden.

They fell silent after that. The walk was surprisingly pleasant; it wasn't as chilly as she had expected it to be. She studied his features as she strolled on, like the stalker she was.

He was wearing faded black jeans, and a shirt the same shade of blue as his eyes. He had rolled the sleeves up to his elbows, showing off his toned arms. She barely held back the dreamy sigh that was fighting to surface.

At that moment, he turned to her. She started in surprise and averted her eyes, feeling a blush rising to her cheeks. She hoped he hadn't caught her staring again. How was it her fault that he looked so damn breathtaking, anyway?
