Maddyy's POV
The familiar beat of the music met my ears as I walked into the club. I hadn't been selling like I should be so I decided to see if the club owner wanted to buy more. Not being able to control myself I let myself dance across the floor as I made my way to the office.
"Your boss here?" I screamed over the music.
"Yeah. You already knew the answer."
I laughed and made my way to the back like always. I loved the feel from this club!
"Maddyy, nice surprise. What do I owe this pleasure to?"
"Drugs! And a lot of it." I chuckled.
He looked me over in my hot pink tank top and short black skirt. "Fine. I'll buy it all like my brother did last time."
I smiled at the fact they were so much alike. They were twins after all except this was Brad and Brad was more hardcore into drugs then his brother.
"Unload it." I said into my phone.
Brad was looking me up and down when I took a seat in front of him. "Want some?" he asked.
I looked at the drugs laid out on his desk and decided to start with a blunt. Picking out the stems and rolling it up tightly I felt Brad's eyes on me. After lighting it I looked up at him while inhaling the smoke.
"Still the same old girl huh?" he chuckled to himself.
"Always," I smiled brightly at him.
"Let's go hard then shall we?"
I saw the challenging look in his eyes. "We shall."
I watched as he lined up hits off coke on his metal tray. Rolling a dollar bill a waited for him to hand it over so I could start snorting my lines. I consumed all three within' a two minute time frame.
Laying my head on the back of the couch I smoked another joint letting the relaxed feeling take over.
Knock! Knock!
"Boss someone is here to see you." We heard from the other side of the door.
Brad looked over at me to make sure I looked okay. "Send them in."
I heard the door open but I didn't feel the need to turn around and look at who entered. That was until I heard the sound of their voice.
"Brad," it spoke.
My heart started racing and my mind went blank. I turned around to see Scott standing at the door smirking at me.
"Maddyy, what a surprise to find you here," he said smirking knowingly.
"Hi," I mumbled.
Brad looked between the two of us before talking, "What's up Scott?"
"Nothing just came out to relief some stress and thought I would come by and say hey." He didn't stumble over his words.
I didn't know what took over me but before I could think about what I was doing I was on my feet and headed towards Scott. When I reached his side I put my arm around his lower body and pulled me with me to the dance floor of the club without so much as saying bye or thank you to Brad.
I was high and drugs at the moment and really didn't care nor think about the fact Scott knew my secret. I turned around so I was facing him, it surprised me that he wasn't trying to push me off of him.
"Why are you doing this Maddyy? Shouldn't you hate me for threatening you," he looked so young from the way the light was hitting him.
"Why would I hate you? You're amazing," I said.
He looked taken back by my reply. "You don't even know me."
I giggled, "So you're a great person I can tell. If not you wouldn't have warned me about knowing my secret, you would just told Tyler."
"Is this why you're being like this right now?" He stopped dancing and turned me to face him.
"What are you talking about? I'm doing this because I want." I grabbed his hand and pulled him back to me smiling.
He stared into my eyes for the longest time before dancing with me again. I started laughing when he did the robot. As much as I denied the fact that I liked him I couldn't help but have feelings for him. He was just too sweet of a guy in my opinion.
"Hey, hey, you, you. I don't like your girlfriend. Hey. Hey , you, you, I could be your girlfriend."
As the song started playing I started jumping up and down to the beat of the music while Scott started singing replacing every girlfriend with the word boyfriend.
"You don't know wanna be my boyfriend," I whispered in his ear.
"Yeah I would. I just didn't get the chance because Tyler called you as first sight."
I looked at him seriously, "I'm not his toy I might be his girlfriend but he doesn't own me, you know."
That's when I heard it, "Maddyy!" Someone was yelling over the music. I looked over to see Tyler trying to get a glimpse at me to make sure it was really me.
"Let's get out of here," Scott said pulling my hand. As much as I liked Tyler something drew me to Scott. I didn't know what it was but being around him made me feel carefree, like nothing else mattered or even existed except us two.
---
"What is this place?" I asked.
"Somewhere I come when I wanna be alone." Scott answered.
I looked at the view in front of me. The starry sky was overhead with the full moon shining bright. The grass beneath my feet felt amazing. I loved it here! It was the most spectacular place I'd ever been to.
"I love this place. How'd you find it?"
He was staring at the sky, "Things got complicated for me about three years ago. I went for a run one day and just kept running. I finally stopped when I got here and couldn't help but feel calm. Now when I want to be alone or just have time to burn I come here to relax."
"Does anyone know this?"
He smiled before looking at me. "One person does."
I frowned and tried to hide the disappointment in my voice. "Oh."
He grabbed my chin and tilted it up until I was looking into his eyes, "You."
I felt butterflies going through my stomach as he looked into my eyes. I had never felt this way about someone before. I barely knew him but I knew there was something special about him. There was something special about the two of us.
"I wish you would have called me first." I whispered.
Something in his eyes darkened, "I do too. Maddyy I really do."
I swallowed the lump in my throat and said the sentence I knew I was going to regret for the rest of my life, "We shouldn't do this ...."
I tried to look away but Scott kept his grip on my chin not letting me look away from his beautiful blue eyes. "No. We definitely shouldn't." Then without hesitating he brought his lips down to meet mine.
Closing my eyes I felt static pass through my body as the fireworks went off in my head. I smiled into the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck. His body pressed into mine like it was meant to be there. Our lips formed together perfectly.
Everything about us felt perfect. I didn't even think twice about Tyler or anything else that had been going on in my life recently.
