Maddy's POV
Gun shots! I heard them ringing throughout the air as I jumped up from my bed not knowing what was happening. Shouting was going on outside the door as well. I was still half asleep constantly inhaling the substances that make me sleep.
"Maddyy!"
"Maddyy where are you?"
"HELLO! Maddyy you here!"
People were screaming my name on the outside of the door. I didn't know if they were close or not. Everything was fuzzy and slurred around me.
The voices were moving farther and farther away until I couldn't hear them anymore. Not long after they disappeared I heard the lock on the door being clicked open. I tried to focus on the door as someone walked in.
"Good you're awake," Ezra said. "Time to get you out of here. I don't want them finding you just yet."
I didn't understand what he was saying to me. My world was still spinning, nothing was still. As my eyes began to focus I noticed him walking towards me with something in his hand. The closer he got the more frantic I became. Once he was in front of me he grabbed my arm and looked at it.
"I'm about to inject you with something that will relax and calm you. You've probably done it before or maybe not. Depends on how long you've been hanging around Tyler and if he even does it." Ezra smirked.
Seconds passed and then I felt it. A burning sensation filled my entire arm. I gasped from the feeling as the needle continued to fill my veins with this unknown and foreign liquid. Ever so slowly I felt him pull the needle out of my arm.
"This might relax you so much you fall asleep."
I could feel my eyes fighting to stay open as he stood over me. The last thing I felt before falling asleep was Ezra picking me up off the bed and cuddling me to his chest as he began walking out of the room. The blackness took over my body after that.
-Dream Begins-
"Maddyy, you're the most important thing in my life. I'd do anything for you." Eddie said.
I giggled as we stared in the mirror at ourselves. I was only thirteen while Eddie was only in his twenties.
"Thank you Eddie, for everything." I smiled at him.
He turned me around to face him. "You know from the moment I saw you I knew there was something about you that I couldn't stop from liking. Whether it's fatherly, brotherly or boyfriend like feelings I don't know."
I looked into his beautiful eyes taking them in, "Really?"
I nodded his head and smiled more brightly at me. "If you ever get lost or someone decides to take you remember something for me, ok?" I nodded my head at him. "I will always be looking for you. I won't give up until I find you. Nothing will keep me from you."
"I love you Eddie," I whispered wrapping my arms around his neck.
"You've already been through so much in your life. I will protect you and make sure no one hurts you ever again." he whispered into my hair.
