RAVENOUS (ONE SHOTS)

"Jackson please wake up" I keep repeating this phrase while I'm on top of him, pumping his chest. I'm desperately crying. He was shot in his abdominal area. Which is tricky. The wound is not that deep but it can damage some organs.

No pupil response but he still has pulse. 'You can do this Jackson. Please hold on there.' As we arrived in the operating room, oxygen supplementation was given. We started the operation by tearing up his shirt. I cant cry right now. 'Jackson can do this.' because he has a muscled body, the bullet didn't create damage in any of his abdominal organs.

Its been half and hour since were operating him. We need to be careful in each step we will do. Finally we removed the bullet. We thought everything is fine when his blood pressure was dropping rapidly. Oxygen saturation is also low. I calmed myself and continued the process.

"He's bleeding a lot Doctor!" My assistant doctor stated.

"If he'll die, there will be million of people who will kill us." Ms. Cheong, my co- doctor stated.

"Insert blood more." I replied calmly. 'You can do this Jackson. Just wait. Wait.'

"Its still dropping." said Ms. Cheong. She is really panicking. "Stop panicking." I said strictly.

"Transfuse the blood faster. We have enough blood packs for him. Lets remove the adhesion and finish this up." I said, more like announced.

"Ms. Cheong, bring me 5 RBC packs. Dr. Lee, lets finish this quickly." We worked for another half an hour.

Jackson is now in his room. Located in 8th floor where private rooms are located. Right now, im fixing his IV and waiting for him to wake up. He still needs to wake up to call the surgery a success. He need to wake up.

I heard the door open, i saw Tae walked in with fruits and Jackson's clothes. "SinB, is he okay?" Tae asked worriedly. "He will be fine. His vital signs are normal. Let's just wait for him to wake up." I hope i calmed him down with my words. We were shocked when the door opened again and 6 people walked in. I saw Jaebum, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, Yugyeom and Mark.

"Youre the one who operated him right?" I heared Jinyoung's voice.

"Yes. I am." I answered lowly.

"How is he?" Yugyeom asked.

"He will be fine. Lets just wait for him to wake up." I said smiling.

"Is there a possibility that he will never wake up?" Bambam asked. We all looked at him confused. I understand him, Ive been in a situation like this before where people are losing hope after the patient's surgery.

"I can't say yes or no. But he's vital signs are normal. There is a possibility that he will wake up." I said calmly. "I need to go now. I still have to do my rounds. Call me when we wakes up. Please stay well." I bowed to them. I looked at Jackson, 'Please wake up soon.' After that, i headed out.

It's been 9 hours. Jackson should be awake by now. Before i logged out, i went to his room first. I knocked twice and Yugyeom opened the door for me. "Good evening doctor Hwang. Please come in." I think he is sleeping. I walked in and saw Youngjae, Jaebum and Mark sleeping in the couch. They must been tired.

I saw Tae beside Jackson. Looking through his phone. I sat across him. "He is still not waking up." Tae said. I thought he didn't saw me. "That's why I came up here." I stood up, checked his vital signs and adjusted his IV flow. "Since his vital signs are normal, lets wait for a bit longer. I did my best and my power when i was operating him. He should wake up. I'll kill him more if he wont." I said. "Thank you so much SinB. For doing this. Thank you so much." Tae said while handling me an apple. "I accept cash." I joked. Tae smiled. He is the cutest person on earth people. "After all, its my job. I need to go now. My shift is over. Call me if he'll wake up okay? Take rest Tae." I said and headed out.

Its 2AM when Tae called me and said "Jackson is now awake but still chose to sleep. I think he is okay. His vital signs are still normal. Come here around 7AM." Just the right time to my shift. I woke up around 6AM to get ready and headed to the hospital.

I logged in and wore my hospital uniform. "Good morning Dr. Hwang!" Dr. Lee greeted me cheerfully. "The patient is now awake. Our operation is a success. I think we injected a lot of anesthesia that's why he slept for almost for 11 hours." He added while laughing. "I think so too. Thank you Dr. Lee for helping me yesterday." I replied smiling. "I will always help you. Its our job. I need to go. I need to do my last rounds. Take care doctor!" He said while heading to the elevator.

I heard my phone rings, a call from Tae. "He is now awake. He don't want to eat. I'm worried." Tae said. "It's normal Tae. He can't eat also. He should eat after 2 days. Ill be there in 5 minutes." I said while rushing to the elevator. "Okay. Take care. The members just got home. Please don't knock. Open it yourself. Ill keep it open." He is really lazy.

I arrived in front of Jackson's room. I don't know why but I'm nervous. Does he remember me? What will he say? I erased all my thoughts and opened the door.

"Great, you're here. I need to to out to buy some food for myself. Ill be back shortly. Please take care of Jackson for me. Do you want something?" Tae said while organizing his bag. "I will and i just ate. Take care Tae." I said. Tae walked out and closed the door.

I faced Jackson and he stared right back at me.

"Hwang SinB?"
