The Darkest Hour

Valentine's Day

* Jayde's POV*
It was awhile after the voice had said something. I was walking in the halls and it was also Valentine's Day. People were snogging and giving chocolates but I was fine by myself. I needed to find out what was causing the voice to speak to me and why it did. It was certainly confusing. I turned into the decorated hall that had hearts, and other kinds of love stuff. Sighing, I walked on. People stared at me but let them stare. I didn't care. I walked straight to the Great Hall.

" Why is everybody so in love? Then there's me." I mumbled to myself. I took a seat at the Ravenclaw table. Taking out parchment and a quill, I wrote down some things. After awhile I felt someone tap on my shoulder, I looked up and saw a boy.

" Hey.... Wanna be my Valentine?" He asked. Now, let me tell you something.... he was definitely hot but I knew what he meant by 'Valentine' that would mean snogging.

" I don't feel like snogging right now." I replied and went back to what I was doing but the guy just stood there.

" That's not what I meant. I really want you to go out with me. You're really pretty and I like your personality." He said sitting on the table. I looked at him once more.

" How do you know my personality?" She asked curiously.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

" I don't want to freak you out but I watch you in our classes together." He murmured.

Who was this guy?

" Ohhh, okay but never mind." I said thinking. Should I go with this guy? Or continue my work?
