The Darkest Hour

An Unusual Day

* Isabella's POV*
Ok I'll say it. Hogwarts was certainly weird. I know it's hard for me to say it but I'm only telling you the truth.
Everybody was freaking out and this bothered me so much because when they freak out..... I freak out. It was morning and I was late for class.
" Late again? Well I certainly will not dock points from my own house but do try and be on time." Snape said while turning around.

What was his problem? Oh well it's not my fault. I looked away.

It was a little while later when Snape let us go. I sighed with relief and left.

" Isabella! Wait up!" I heard a voice say calling my name. I turned around and saw Draco running to catch up with me.

" Hi Draco." I said pausing so he could catch up with me. I watched as I saw him look back and forth as if somebody was watching us.

" Is something wrong?" I asked curiously.

" No. Nothing." He said really fast.

This is certainly strange..... He never acts like this. Weird.

" Ok. Well we should hea-" I began but got interrupted.

" Listen, just don't get to attached to certain people." Draco said quickly before turning around and leaving.

Wait! What? I was so confused. I had no idea what he meant.... attached? Certain people? Was Draco jealous? Oh well this was just an ordinary boring day.

I started to climb the stairs and thinking about what he had said......
~ Next Day~
I got out of my bed, stretching. After putting my robes on, I decided to go into the common room and read for a bit. As I entered the common room, I heard voices.

" Just don't go near her! Else you'll have to deal with me." said the voice of Draco.

I got interested in what was going on. So I quietly put my book down and stood listening.

" I can be a friend too, Draco. I don't need you bossing me around like you own everybody." said another familiar voice.

To be honest, I got the feeling that Draco was jealous. Suddenly, a loud noise interrupted my listening and concentration. I turned to look and saw that something had hit the window and was now smeared.

Curious, I slowly walked towards the window and saw something very unusual indeed that made me gasp..........
