"Come in." I yelled from my closet after I heard a knock on my door. I came out to see Peter standing in my room. He turned around and stared at me with wide eyes.
"What?" I asked as I dumped some clothes on my bed.
"Can I please come with you to Kelly's?"
"No." I said immediately.
"Come on Becky!" He pleaded.
"No, Peter. No boys allowed." I smirk. He scoffed.
"I know you're on to something!" He half-yelled, storming out of my room and slamming my door. I laughed lightly. My brother somewhat got a hint into the kind of adventure my friends and I have and always wished to tag along. But I never allowed him.
I did not blame him though. Mum barely let us leave the house and Peter, not only because he's still twelve years old, but because he barely had friends, was almost never allowed to go out of the house.
I packed a little change of clothing including a windcheater, just in case it became windy. I snatched my pepper spray and little pen recorder from my bedside table, shoving them all into my backpack.
Snatching my phone from my bed, I slung my backpack over my shoulders and dashed downstairs. I quickly went to the kitchen, grabbed some snacks, chocolates, and drinks and stuffed them in my bag.
"Come on Chester." I lifted the samoyed into one arm, my other hand taking hold of my bicycle.
"Becky!" Mum yelled and I hurried towards the garage.

"Bye mum, bye Peter." I said as mum started the car. I waved at them and smirked at Peter. Mum waved back while Peter gave me a scowl. I chuckled and shook my head.
I knocked on the front door of Kelly's house. It immediately flew open.
"Hey Becky." Kelly said, hugging me.
"Hi Kelly! We've really got to plan. Mum almost ruined it all." I said as we climbed up the stairs to her room.
I was greeted with clothes flung all over the bed and an empty box of pizza lying on the floor. I unconsciously looked around.
"Erm? This is unusual." Kelly rolled her eyes.
"Well, I wasn't expecting you sooner."
"Still." I said. I was surprised because Kelly would not put an empty box of pizza on the floor. "Is someone here?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.
"No one, Becky. How did your mum almost ruin our plan?" She asked as she bent to pat Chester's head. Chester immediately leapt into her arms.
"Kelly-"
"Please don't tell me you doubt me." She said, looking straight at me. I sighed.
"Fine. She wanted my brother and I to go with her to Mrs Baxter's. But I begged her to let me come over to your house so we had better hurry up and head for Nikki's before my mum gets back." I said as I joined Kelly to pack. We were done in five minutes. I laid on her bed to rest a bit and seconds later Kelly slumped on her bed beside me.
"You do realise your mum's definitely going to find out after today right? This will be so obvious." Kelly said.
"Well, there's a possibility. This tracker thingy is so annoying..." I trailed. Oh well! Mum would definitely find out when she does not find me in Kelly's house. She would definitely trace me.
Hopefully I can get around it.
Kelly sighed and got packing. After some minutes, she spoke.
"Let's go."
