Dark Emotion

Do you ever feel so hard is hurts,
Suppressing your emotions so hard your body goes numb,
When your expected to soar on your own but only seem to burn,
The flames hurt so much and unshed tears sting your heart,
Your traumatized to preform in perfection and only that,
Yet a human is only a mere human not a god,
Why then must we play the role like a pointless act to please hypocrites,
When you never have felt love but know so much about dark, twisted, and burning pain,
Enough pain to last you ten lifetimes,
When your told never to question and obey,
But when you obey they tell you to question,
And when you find what little courage remains to question they crush you,
Your answers are not wanted they say,
Just listen don't speak,
Just obey don't think,
I can't even consider crying because it hurts too much for tears,
So much pain in our minds that any physical pain doesn't even compare,
Actually it feels better than that knife to our souls,
The feeling of fading inside of yourself until nothing matters in life,
Why must others put us into this state of mind,
We are not perfect and because of that it hurts too much to describe,
When your soul is torn for your body,
When your heart loses a love you've never felt but longed for,
Betrayed yet told to trust,
Misjudged yet told everyone is equal,
Hurt yet told your fine,
Hated yet told to love,
When the pain leaves you so numb it's like nothing is there anymore,
No sorrow,
No joy,
No sadness,
No pleasure,
When you cry all you do is sit in a shocked state,
Then laughing because your emotions have died,
All that's left is a useless shell of worthless flesh bleeding inside,
And that's all that ties us to this world of no feeling or devotion,
It's such an ironic fact this dark emotion.
