Chapter 1

CONORS POV

I sigh as I sit down on Oli's sofa for the fourth day in the row

"Please Oli, I just need to know" I plead again

Oli rolls his eyes

I have been doing this every day for a year in some shape or form

Whether it be text, FaceTime, Skype or face to face

I guess you could say that I've been annoying him

Oli continues to ignore me as he types on his phone

I sigh before I run my hand through my hair

I'll be honest and say that this game was boring me as much as it was boring Oli

I just want to know

I need to know where Emily is

"Oli please" I plead once more hoping that he will give in

"Conor, I'm not telling you, so just give up" Oli tells me, still not looking at me

I sigh and throw myself back on his sofa

If I haven't been able to get an answer out of Oli for the past year, was he really going to tell me now?

Probably not

Letting out a deep sigh, I get up off the sofa

"I'll see you later Oli, I'll let myself out" I mumble as I walk through Oli's flat

Suddenly, I hear the ring of FaceTime

Oli is quick to answer the call

"Hello?" he says

"Hi Oli, are you ok?" a female voice asks

I recognise it straight away

It's Emily!

"I'm ok thanks, how are you?" I hear Oli ask

By this time, I have got my phone out and I've started recording their conversation

I know this is wrong of me to do but, maybe I can get something out of it 

That could possibly lead me to where we Emily is

"I'm alright thanks but I need a big favour off you" I hear her plead

"What do you want?" Oli asks

"Can you please pick me up some nappies, I ran out this morning" Emily requests

"Emily, there is literally a Tesco right across the road from you, can't you go and get them?" Oli questions

I hear Emily sigh

"Oli, I haven't slept all night, I am so tired and she has only just gone down to sleep, just do me this one little favour as my best friend, please?" Emily pleads

I hear Oli sigh

"Alright, I'll get you some" he says

"You do remember my address don't you?" Emily asks

It goes silent for a moment

"Ummmm, no?" Oli says unsure of the correct answer

Emily groans playfully

"Alright, I'll tell you again, my address is Flat 11 Prize Walk, Stratford, E20 1AJ" She tells him

I stop recording after that and leave ever so quietly because if Oli sees I was standing there listening to what him and Emily had been talking about then well I may as well say goodbye to my life

I finally have what I wanted, her address!

I mean what harm can it do me knowing where she lives?

Am I really that bad?

I get into my car and re-listen to the recording

I know exactly where it is in Stratford

Once I start my car, I drive to the building but before I get out, I freeze

What if she hates me?

What if I caused her to leave?

I can't think like that

I get out the car and walk up to her door

Placing my hand upon her door and knocking three times and wait for someone to answer

EMILYS POV

I finally got Penelope to sleep after a long night of no sleep

That's when I remembered that I was out of nappies and had no way of getting to the shops, so I face timed a good friend Oli

Yeah, me and Oli stayed friends he's helped me ever since I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl

I have told Oli not to mention where I am, I know that everyone knows Oli still speaks to me but he promised not to say anything to them

They must also know I still talk to my big brother Mikey, if they don't well they are stupid

It's hard not seeing Jack or Conor but I had to leave it wasn't fair pulling in both boys just to break one of their hearts

It hurt me to leave but in the end, I know that they are better off without me

As I wait for Oli, I just sit scrolling through my phone with a cup of tea in my hand but I am interrupted by the door

Well Oli was quick

As I open the door I realise that it wasn't Oli, it was the one person who I thought I'd never see again...

Conor Maynard

"Conor?"

"Emily?"

A/N: So Conor has found Emily because he overheard Emily and Oli talking
