-2 WEEKS LATER-
CONORS POV
"Come on Emily, let me take you with me to record this cover to cheer you up!" I say as I sit on her bed
I'm currently sat in Emily's room trying to get her to go with me to where I am recording my cover to cheer her up
Ever since what happened with the flat, she has been really down
"Who is going to have Penelope though? We can't exactly take a baby to record a cover" Emily points out as she drags her hair straighteners down her hair
"Mikey could have her" I suggest
"I guess he could, do you really think he would?" Emily wonders
"Do you want me to ring him and ask?" I question
Emily nods
"Yes please" she says with a smile
"Alright, you carry on doing what you are doing and I will go and ring Mikey" I tell her
I get off Emily's bed and I walk out of her room before I slip into mine
Once I'm in, I pull my phone out of my pocket and get Mikey's contact up before ringing him
He answers the phone after 3 rings
"Hello?" He questions through the phone
"Hi Mikey it's Conor, I was wondering if you would do me a favour?" I ask
Mikey hums
"What is this favour?" he questions
"I was wondering if you could look after Penelope today" I wonder
"Why?" he asks
"Because I'm going to take Emily to one of the recordings of my covers to cheer her up" I explain to him
Mikey hums
"Alright, I'll have Penelope for today" he agrees
I smile through the phone
"Right thank you Mikey, I'll bring her round later on our way to recording the cover" I explain to him
"Ok then, see you soon, bye Conor" Mikey says to me through the phone
"Bye" I say before I press the end call button
I put my phone back in my pocket and walk back into Emily's room to see her cuddling Penelope in her arms
"Penelope woke up from her nap so I thought that I would give her a cuddle" Emily mumbles
I go and sit on the bed next to her and I pull her into me
When she is closer to me, I place a kiss on the top of her head and I place a kiss on the top Penelope's head as well
"Can you take Penelope off me so I can finish getting ready?" Emily questions
"Of course I can, come on Pennie let's take you on an adventure!" I exclaim as I lift her up and move her around like an aeroplane
I carry Penelope out of Emily's room and down the stairs
As I get down the stairs, I look around and see that Jack is no where to be found
The more that I see of Penelope and Emily, the less that I see of Jack and Yasmine
That's what happened over Christmas
Jack was there sometimes but as soon as Penelope came into view, he was gone
