Chapter 12

-A WEEK LATER-

CONORS POV

After I recorded the sing off with The Vamps, Emily was so grateful and a lot happier

It seems like after seeing Connor, her whole world brightened up

Which makes me wonder, if he knew where she was all the time she was gone

But I'm not going to dwell on the past

Connor makes Emily happy and they are best friend from what I heard from James, Tristan and Brad

And they know Connor better than anyone

I'm defiantly going to keep an eye on them because of what happened with Connor before

But I'm just happy to have the smiley Emily back

Last night me and Emily were watching Stranger Things on Netflix in her room last night and I think I accidentally fell asleep in her bed

Don't worry nothing happened!

We was just watching a program that happened to be both our favourite thing on Netflix

I yawn as my eyes open slowly

As I wake up, I quietly slide my body up the bed so I can sit up

When I sit up, I pull my arms out from under the covers and stretch them in the air

I turn my head to see that Emily is still asleep and she has her back to me

Her brown hair is up in a high pony tail, she is wearing a light pink hoodie and a pair of light blue shorts on

I roll over and reach for my phone, I press the lock button and I see that it is 10:46am

I sigh because I know it is time to get up, I throw the duvet off me

As I do, I notice a foreign colour on the bed out of the corner of my eye

I turn my head sharply to see a patch of red colouring on the sheets

At this point Emily moves slightly and I notice that she has a stain on her pyjama bottoms as well

Has Emily unexpectedly started her period?

What would Anna do in this situation?

Maybe I should call her

Before I do anything, I grab my phone so that I am able to call Anna

I get out of her bed and walk out of Emily's room before going over to the bathroom that we share

As I go into the bathroom, I lock the door behind me and I unlock my phone before I get Anna's contact up and press the FaceTime button

Whilst I wait for Anna to answer, thoughts start to fly round my head

"Will Emily be annoyed that I have rung Anna?"

"Will she hate me?"

"Hello?" I hear Anna say into the phone

"Anna I need your help" I say

"What? What's happened?" Anna asks in a hurry

"I woke up this morning, in Emily's bed before you ask nothing happened we was watching Netflix and we both fell asleep, but this morning as I moved out of bed, I noticed Emily has started her period and I don't know what to do" I explain sighing feeling stupid for not knowing what to do

"Oh Conor, what I would say is run Emily a nice warm bubble bath, help her get changed, and help get her into the bath, leave her for how long she needs" Anna says and I nod telling her to carry on
