So sorry it cut off half way. The first part you've probably read but I have changed things and re-worded them, so I recommended reading all of this. Thanks for understanding<3

Dedicated to Toby James McDonough. Maybe one day, someone will send you the link to this book and you'll take a look at it. When you see that I wrote it, maybe you'll think about all the memories we've had... I hope. Hope you had an amazing birthday Toby. I love you with all my heart<3 Enjoy.

*Emily's POV*

*Two years later*

*May 1st*

The past two years have been great! Toby and I are better than ever! His touch and his kiss still bring me butterflies. I've honestly never loved anything or anyone so much. He's recording some new stuff in LA right now, but plans to he home by the 4th, 2 days before my senior prom. Yes, the school is letting him go too, just like they have for our homecomings. Joan is down in the kitchen with my mom because her and Mark have been letting the boys go on their own to some of their 'work related' things lately. My mom's still working for the same company and found a boyfriend about a year back that I really like. His name is Joe and he works with her. He also has a 5 year-old girl that Toby and I baby sit all the time. She's a real cutie. Joan and my mom are still like sisters. Cameron is doing really well at Notre Dame. Him and Eric start on the baseball team and live in a cute little house together right outside of campus. Allison broke up with him before he left for school. He was crushed, but ended up finding a new girlfriend, Christina, about 6 months later. She pitches for the softball team at Notre Dame. Oh, and they're both majoring in Law Enforcement. The rest of my family is doing well. Lauren is dating an old friend of hers, Anthony. Her and Curtis are friends, but they both decided it was time to just move on. Curtis also has a girlfriend, Elizabeth. My dad has come down to see me 3 times and Toby and I went up to see him once. My dad and Toby seem to be getting along much better.

For the McDonough's, they're doing really well. The boys get bigger and bigger everyday which is really great... For them at least. Toby and I have gotten used to the bullshit and rumors, we're above all that. Grace and Riley, however, are not. They broke up for a few months around a year ago due to the rumor they were both sleeping around. Yes, they did lose their virginity to each other, but the rumors about the others were not true. They're currently back together and have been for around 7 or 8 months. They actually go back together on what would've been, and is again, their anniversary, August 26th. Toby and I still remained pure. We've gotten closer than close a few times, and if I wouldn't have stopped him, things would've definitely happened. I don't know why, but I just couldn't find it in me. Connor is still so in love with Megan. No one knows for sure what will happen with those two. One minute they're practically dating, and the next Megan's practically dating someone else. Whatever is happening though is causing Connor so major mood swings.

As for the other boys, they're all still in the band. (A/N I know it's not true, but I like to believe it it.) Braiden and Tayler are back together, but Thomas and Chris are still single. The biggest adjustment I've had to make is Braiden, Thomas, and Connor being able to drink. I can't even imagine how it's going to be for Riley next year. It's hilarious when the boys get drunk though Joan absolutely hates it. She tries to keep the alcohol to as much as a minimum as she can. Grace and I are still like sister, Alexis and I are still good friends, just a lot more distant than we used to me, and Tripp and I are practically still insepriable, just like we are with all the other guys. Also, Katie, Baylee, and I have all gotten extremely close.

I started playing softball again my junior year for Edgewater. Our softball program is the best around. It was one of my favorites things to do all my life at home and I decided to do it again. Pretty soon here, I will be back up catcher for Notre Dame and I could not be more excited. Their catcher right now is graduating in 2 years, which means there's a very good chance I will be starting by then. The day I got accepted was one of the best days of my life.

Through the spring, winter, and fall, I will be working with John Mayer's team on recording some stuff around school. Free time will be very scarce, but that John Mayer's team is willing to work around my schedule to record with me is utterly incredible. Toby and I have decided on a great compromise with our parents and the band. Him and I are getting a cute little house right outside of campus. It's sort of by my brother's and Christina's who will be studying there for approximately 5 more years. Toby will stay three months with me, then two months at home, and then the cycle will continue. He still has to attend most house parties, recording/writing sessions, photo shoots, tours, etc. which makes complete sense. I'm really excited for it all though! I think it'll be a blast living on our own. I thank God everyday that money isn't a problem for us. We're very fortunate for that too. Most college kids don't have that. And that's pretty much all, but before all that happens, I have to finish off senior year and work my butt off this summer to get ready to attend ND and play softball.

*May 3rd*

"Look how cute Curtis and Elizabeth look!!" My mom grabbed my phone, looked, and handed it back. "Cute! I like her dress." It was baby blue with sparkles that reached down to the middle of her calf. His bow tie matched it. "You and Toby going to get his tux tomorrow?" I shrugged. "If he doesn't get home by 3, I'm just gonna pick it up for him. He left money here for me just in case. I'll probably be doing that. He said he'd try though. His flight leaves at 12:00, but by the time he gets home and everything..." She nodded. "Sorry." I shook it off and planted a fake smile on my lips. "It's all good." Sometimes, I wish we were just a normal teenage couple that could go pick out a tux instead of texting back and fourth about measurements and trying to order the damn thing over the phone sometimes. I wish he was coming with me tomorrow to pick it up so we could take a cute picture where we dress up just to take it. I knew there was a possibility, but now, possibility meant probably not to me.

Toby didn't make it home until around 8:30 the next night. They had a delay. The tux fit him pretty well and it was simple, but elegant. His creme colored tie matched my dress that also came to around mid-calf and was open in the back. It was a one shoulder, well fitted and again, very elegant dress. Around the whole dress were strands of sparkles. The first stand started out covering my shoulder and thinning it's way down under my chest. From there, it curved it's way down. My nails were done already and they matched perfectly. My shoes were simply 6-inch heals that matched the sparkles on my dress. We didn't get a chance to take a picture before Prom night.

*May 6th ~ Prom Night*

"One more," our mom's both yelled out after the 50th picture. I acted like I hated it as much as Toby, but I didn't. I loved it. The more pictures the better. "The limo will be here any minute," I said through my smiled. When it finally did pull up, the guys, their dates, and Toby and I all jumped in. "Elizabeth, you look stunning!" "Oh please! Look at yourself. You're the gorgeous one here Em!" I smiled. "I'll agree to disagree but thank you!" The limo ride was so much fun. Music was blasting and all of us were laughing the whole way there.

Everything looked beautiful. In front of the school was the place to take pictures with balloons and all kinds of different backgrounds (Toby and I choose a starry-type one). The dance was held in the gym like all the rest were. Ours was absolutely huge and they decorated it so well that it felt as if we were in a real ballroom. The DJ did a really great job. We all were grinding and twerking the whole night which was very fun until the last song of the night - the slow song. It was a song I don't even recall the name of, but it was really a nice song. Toby held me close enough that I felt his hot, minty breath brushing my ear and tight enough to hear his racing heart beating just as fast as mine. "I love you Emily Beth." I softly smiled as goosebumps filled my body. All of a sudden, a stupid pre-prom picture or being a normal high school couple didn't matter so much. Him and I only mattered at this very moment. He only mattered. "I love you too Toby James... I love you too."

*Author's Note*

Hope everyone enjoyed! I know it was kind of boring, but I needed to give you a recap of the past 2 years. I promise you as the book continues on, everything will flow more smoothly and things will make more sense. I hope you're as excited as I am! Love you all! Please continue to comment, vote, and share! It's highly appreciated! (: 8 COMMENTS UNTIL THE NEXT CHAPTER<3
