*Toby's POV*
"I can't believe our senior prom is over," Elizabeth slurred out. I was the only one that wasn't drunk out of my mind. Even Em had one too many. She sat a mess on my lap but I couldn't do anything but smile. She was just too cute to be mad at when she was drunk, any time really. She's sort of a funny drunk, and trust me, I've experienced it a few times over the years. "Yeah, it was fun though," Em barely replied as she kissed me on the cheek and giggled. I didn't understand why sex was a major no no, but when it came to alcohol, there was no problem. I shook off the thought though.
For the next hour or so, we talked and sipped from our red solo cups a little bit in our circle in the middle of Curtis' living room. Prom and beer pong could really wear a person out... What? I said I wasn't drunk. I never said I didn't drink a little... A little as in half a cup. Emily sort of played for me. Plus, it was with pizza rolls. "Shit, it's already 3? We gotta get home." "Nooooo Tobyyyyyy, let's just stay." I laughed at her and picked her up. I set her over my shoulder but she surprisingly, she didn't flight. Like I said, she was a 'fun' drunk. I finally got her all in the car and all belted up. Then, we headed home.
The car finally pulled into the driveway. I took the keys out and smiled at her. "Now Em, sober up as much as possible in case my parents are still awake and stay away from them as much as possible." She smiled. "I'm not drunk, silly little boy." I walked around chuckling and helped her out of the car. "Who you callin' little?" "You," she giggled out with her hand on her mouth. We walked in the house as quietly as possible, Emily attached to my right arm, tryin' to follow behind. The only one up was my mom in the kitchen. She looked exhausted. "Act tired," I whispered to Emily. She then yarned loudly which broke my mom out of her daze. "Kids! How was it?!" I smiled. "Great, but Emily's exhausted and so am I. You don't like too peppy yourself, so we were just gonna go to bed." She gave us a stern look. "No hanky-panky." Emily giggled but I just rolled my eyes. "I know." I let go of Emily's hand and walked over to her. I kissed the top of her head. My scent of alcohol was gone by now... From me at least. "I love you. Goodnight." "Goodnight baby boy." "Night Momma Joan." She chuckled and I knew she saw right through our act. "Goodnight Emily."
As soon as we got into my room, Emily collapsed on the bed. "You didn't drink barely any!" I gave her a toothy grin. "I needed to drive you home." "Againnnnnn, I am not drunnnnk." I chuckled. "Let me change you." "Whateverrr you sayyyyy," she smiled out, her eyes slowly shutting. I unzipped the back of her dress of slowly took it off her body. All of a sudden when the dress was completely off, she jumped on me and began kissing me. "Emily," I moaned into the kiss. She then put her pointer finger over my lips and moved down to my neck as she tried removing my shirt. "No, Emily stop. You don't want this." "Don't be sillyyyy Toby. I don't care about that stupid marriage thingyyy. I love you and we'll like prooooobably be getting married, so what's the difference?" "Emily no. You're drunk and you don't know what you're saying." "I'm not drunk," she screamed jumping off of me and taking the t-shirt out of my hands. She put it on and it just hit right after her cute little butt. It looked perfect. I then stripped down to my underwear and put on some shorts and a t-shirt. Then, I shut off the lights and climbed into bed. I took Emily in my arms as she tried pulling away. "Don't Toby. I don't want you to hold me." "Remember the first time I held you? On the beach. Remember the first time we shared a blanket. Your first movie night." "Of course I do Toby, why?" I smiled as she became less tense. "I'm just making sure." I then kissed her head that ended up falling on the soft material that laid on my chest. "Goodnight bub, I love you." Just then, our legs tangled together as she fell asleep, tight in my arms. I hope somehow she remembered tonight.
