"How was the beauty sleep?" Chloe asks as she takes a sip from her hot chocolate just as I walk into the kitchen.
"Ughhh painful." I say, rubbing my head a bit. "What's the time?"
"12."
"Seriously? What happened last night?"
"Um, you went to the club with Maddox."
"Oh man, that doesn't sound so good." I groan, as I get a box of cereal and milk out of the fridge and slide in the seat in front of Chloe.
"Nope."
"I'm gonna go talk to him."
"Yeah, good idea." Chloe stands up. "I promised I'd see Austin today so I've got go run, but good luck with your talk with Maddox."
"Thanks." I say and Chloe leaves the kitchen. For a moment, I just sit there then some memories hit me. I run to the boys rooms and swing open the door. "Woah sorry." I say and spin around just as I see Maddox with just a towel around his waist, getting his clothes.
"I'll be a sec." he says and I hear rummaging behind me. "Okay, clear." He says and I turn around to see a shirtless Maddox. "I still need to dry my hair." He says as he rubs a towel on his head.
"O-okay. Well, uh, I just wanted to ask."
"Ask what?" He says and I can't help but look at his tanned abs. "Hello?"
"Hm? Yeah." I clear my throat. "Um. About last night." I adjust my eyes to his.
"Oh, last night?"
"Yeah."
"Yeah, you were pretty wasted." He chuckles as he puts his shirt on.
"Yeah, so did I do something stupid? If I did I probably didn't even mean it. You know how I get, I sometimes say stuff I don't even mean." I say fast.
"Yeah. I know. I just washed everything you said away by the shower I just had." He says, sitting on his bed. I stand awkwardly at the door, fidgeting with the handle. "You okay there? You seem a bit awkward."
"I'm not. I mean, yeah. I'm fine." I say, leaning against the door but the door swings back because I stupidly didn't close it fully and I fall onto the ground.
"Are you okay?" Maddox comes to me, with a bit of a concerned look on your face.
"Um, no." I say. "My ass hurts." Can this get any more embarrassing?
"Would you like me to kiss it better?" Maddox smirks and I roll my eyes.
"Shut up." I say and before I have time to react, Maddox puts a hand on my back and grabbing one of hands, lifting me up in one swift move.
"Thanks." I say, and notice that we were still holding hands and I quickly pull away and turn around and back into my room, quickly closing the door behind me.
What's wrong with me? Why am I acting so weird in front of Maddox? He's just Maddox. Okay, I can't let him think that he's won by me stuttering. I was the one making him stutter!
"Knock knock?"
"Hey, Austin." I say. "Oh! You wanna set up the date for now?"
"Oh, nah, I was just coming to tell you I'll just set up the date in Germany. You know how Chloe likes German food."
"Yeah, sure. That sounds good." I pause. "Look, Austin. About yesterday, I'm really sorry, I had to..... Um help Maddox with something."
"Nah it's fine."
"I'm really sorry Austin. I promise to make it up to you."
"It's fine." Austin flashes me a smile. He's so sweet and understanding. "I better get going."
"Okay. See you soon." I say and he nods and walks out of my room.

"Frankfurt, Germany! This place is so amazing." Chloe says as she looks around. And she was right. It really was amazing. I look around at the beautiful scenery, and smile.
"Hey guys, I need to go the toilet." Maddox says.
"We'll wait here." I tell him, taking his suitcase from him. He nods and starts to walk back into the airport.
"Hey, let's sit here." Austin says, taking Maddox's suitcase from me with him and starts walking over to a bench.
"So, I was thinking, after we check in we can have a walk around, because I really wanted to go on this cruise." Chloe says, pointing to a pamphlet she was holding.
"That sounds nice." I say, looking back into the airport to see if Maddox was coming. "Won't Maddox miss us if we're sitting here?"
"Nah, he'll be fine. He'll look over this way." Austin says.
"Okay...." I say, but I still look over to the entrance of the airport. I don't know why I care that much about this, it's just that if I walked out of the airport and my friends have just disappeared I'd kinda freak out. I already had Maddox's phone on me because he wanted me to look after it because he didn't have a pocket big enough for his phone so he literally had nothing.
"Hey, what do you want to do while we're in Germany?"
"I've always wanted to go to the Anna Frank house." I say.
"We should so go! That'd be fun!" Chloe says.
"Yeah, let's go." Austin smiles and I look back over to the entrance and see Maddox walk out.
"Maddox!" I shout. He doesn't look this way, he just keeps walking straight away. "Oh my god seriously?" I groan as I get up and start jogging.
"Leah, I'll g-" Austin starts to say but I just keep running.
"Maddox!" I shout again. This time he turns around and grins at me. That's when I hear a big beep from my right and everything goes black.
