The doorbell sounded rather loudly causing the blonde girl to end her text conversation with her bandmate as she ran to open the door. She had received a parcel which had surprised her a lot initially as she hadn't ordered anything and nobody had told her they had ordered anything for her.
When she signed the sheet and removed the bindings of the parcel, she smiled, knowing it would be only Scott who would send something like that to her. Now that she came to think of it, he had told her he'd ordered something for her that she'd absolutely love. She remembered smiling as she recalled the baritone's excitement as he informed her of just how much she was going to love it.
He had literally jumped about in joy when he recounted how he'd come by the product while surfing the Internet and knew instantly that she had to have it. Kevin had let out the full force of his hyena-like laughter which had led to everyone in the vicinity laughing until they were in tears and even after.
A sigh escaped her lips when she remembered those seemingly mistaken moments that they'd spent together since they'd met back in school when she thought he actually had some interest in her. After she had found out that he hadn't any by the way he confided in her of his love for this other girl, she had been heartbroken for days together and had blamed a convenient breakup she had gone through recently.
She had eventually gotten over him and she felt it was one if the best things she had ever done for he was such an amazing friend. He was irreplaceable, as was Mitch, whom she'd mistakenly dated before he came out as gay but had then mended her friendship with.
Avi was very much irreplaceable too, as was Kevin, but they hadn't ever made her wish they were more the way Scott did sometimes. When Pentaholics claimed that Avi and her were in a relationship, he had swiftly stayed as far from her as he could until everyone understood and had apologized a million times to her for it.
Kevin had always been the big brother she hadn't had. He was nice to everyone and constantly kept cheering up everyone. She remembered the recent peppy lyrics he'd texted her and smiled at how they'd definitely helped her get more confident and to get rid of the jitters she'd had.
She had to learn to let go of Scott, for it seemed to many that Mitch and he were a couple although she certainly hadn't missed Scott's longing glances in Avi's direction. She had told him she'd help him out in any way she could so long as she didn't have to break Mitch's heart and he'd agreed and thanked her. But mainly, she had to let go of Scott as anything more than a dear friend because she was engaged to the man of her dreams.
She'd always been quite fond of Jeremy ever since they had met and she was quite glad that they had fallen in love for it distracted her from every other crazy thing going on. She was his and he was hers from then on, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
To ferment her decision, she decided to post a selfie with him on Instagram and captioned it with a quote and two hearts. She was sure she was ready to have Jeremy in the rest of her life, he was everything she could've ever asked for.
Humming a song carelessly, she smiled and got up to finish getting ready for the evening's show. Her phone which had been left on the table displayed the notifications of several likes and comments for her post captioned, 'So we'll hold each other close, And in our souls, we're standing by'
