Revenge!

Chapter 2

PERCY

Percy was worried. Annabeth had forced him to take her to camp, and then she locked herself in

her cabin. She hadn't come out for a week. C'mon Wise Girl, Percy thought, get out!

As if she had read her mind, Annabeth finally came out with her laptop. "I got it!" she shouted.

"Got what, Wise Girl?"

She ignored his question and said, "This author, Rick Riordan, is just like many other great

authors, he makes beloved characters die, or for instance PUT THEM THROUGH HELL!"

Percy shrugged. "So?"

Annabeth groaned. "You really don't see it? He made our friends, monsters, EVERYTHING DIE!"

Suddenly they were interrupted by the dinner bell.

When they got there, Annabeth left me and whispered something to Chiron. Chiron looked

frightened.

Chiron suddenly announced, "Ahem! Welcome campers if you just got here today!" He glanced at

Annabeth and I. "Other campers, hello again! Annabeth here has some...let us say interesting

news."

Annabeth motioned me to come. "We came here today because of something I uncovered at a

library. Percy?"

"Me? Oh." Some Ares campers began to laugh. "Well, we found a book-"

An Aphrodite girl, Drew, suddenly interrupted him. "So...you come here because of a book? I

would think you would come because of an omen or something, but a book?"

I gritted my teeth. "You didn't let me finish Drew. Anyway, we found this book. It was called The

Lightening Thief." I let that sink on to Drew's thick head. "As Annabeth went through the book,

she, let's say calmly, found out it was about our first adventure, when I was accused of being the

lightening thief."

Annabeth continued, "I did some research, and the author, named Rick Riordan, created the

storyline, which means, he created all of our fates. He made our terrible fates. And I have a plan.

A plan to make our fate less bloody."

Everyone gaped at that part.

Mr.D broke the silence by saying, "Well Annie Bell and Peter Johnson, what shall you ever do?"

Then, Annabeth explained everything.
