Revenge!

Chapter 8

PERCY

Not a lot happened from that time onwards. Not a lot, except Thanksgiving break.

When Thanksgiving break came around, Zara came over to my house with a suitcase.

"Ready?" She asked.

I nodded. "Yup. One thing though. I sorta have to bring my friend Annabeth, cuz this has to do

with her."

Instead of being mad, she nodded, and said, "Okay. Let's go pick her up!"

When we finally got everyone together, my mom drove us to the airport. I was a little scared,

because it was in Zeus's domain. But, when the plane started flying, nothing happened. Annabeth,

like me, looked confused when the plane landed. Zara didn't seem to notice our faces.

Then we got our bags, and got into a taxi. When the taxi stopped, the man said, "Ya sure ya wanna

stop here. Nothin' here."

"We're fine, thank you," Annabeth said.

Zara didn't look the slightest confused at all. She looked as if she remembered this place, from a

long time ago. But, when she saw the dragon, she freaked, as if she had encountered a dragon

before, and it didn't go well for her. She stared at the dragon as she walked past.

Chiron welcomed us to camp. "Why are you here?" He asked.

"I need Rachel. Now."

Chiron galloped over to a cave. When he came back, Rachel was with him.

"Oh hi Percy. Hi Annabeth! Who's that?"

"That's Zara." Then I whispered to Rachel, "I need you to tell if she's a reincarnated version of

Zoë."

Rachel immediately said, "She is a reincarnated Zoë, but she's also a demigod."

As soon as Rachel said 'demigod', Zara fainted.

ZARA

What?! Demigod?! Reincarnated Zoë?! Wait, who was Zoë? Suddenly a wave of memories went

into my head. They were mostly about Artemis, Hunters, and Atlas. She knew she had feared

dragons, because a dragon had helped killed her... What?! I woke up.

"Who's my godly parent?" was the first thing I said.

Percy groaned. "Your dad showed us while you were sleeping. Your dad is Zeus."

"Cool! I always liked Zeus!" It was true, since every Latin project I ever had to do was on Zeus.

Percy pouted. "But your dad hates me!"

"Oh..." I guess Zeus transferred his hatred from Poseidon to Poseidon's son. "That doesn't mean I'll

hate you!"

Percy didn't remove his pout. "But if you get hurt or anything, he'll blame me!"

After he said that, I yelled into the sky, "DAD, DON'T HATE ON PERCY PLEASE!"

Annabeth laughed. "We have to tell Thalia about her new half-sister. And that she happens to be

the reincarnated lieutenant! She's gonna blow!"
