Revenge!

Chapter 5

ANNABETH

I couldn't stand it. I heard Perce crying. People thought I was dead. I'm feeling dead. The gray tint

of my skin reminded me of Athena, my mother. I remember her saying that she didn't approve

of me and Percy. I wonder if she cursed me... Nah, she's my mother. She wouldn't do that.

When I woke up the next morning, I could finally move my arms. I sat up. Chiron stood next to me.

He was so happy, he whooped as loud as a horn. "Thank the gods! She's alive! She's ALIVE!"

I laughed. It sort of hurt my lungs. I immediately focused on one thing. "Chiron, where's Percy?"

PERCY

I'll admit it. I went to the bottom of the lake and cried. And cried. And cried some more. Jeez, I

made the lake bigger! I finally got out of the lake and moped over to the Big House. I trudged

through the doors. Then I bumped into a girl in a wheelchair. With blonde hair. I looked up.

"Annabeth!" I was so surprised I nearly fainted.

"Woah there Kelp Brain. I don't want you falling!"

I pushed her wheelchair through the doors. Dozens of sad faces looked up. Those dozens of sad

faces immediately turned into dozens of happy faces. Malcolm ran up to his sister and hugged her.

Then he did something unexpected. He turned to me and said, "Thanks. For taking care of my

sister for me."

I nodded, and I pushed her chair into Cabin 3. We talked for a while, and then she told me about

how she was feeling during her sickness.

~next day~

CHIRON

I couldn't believe it had to happen. Right after she got better.

She had to go back to her school. Apparently, her school had already started, and she was

registered for that school year. When I told her, she groaned. "Ugh! I love school and all, but I'm

still feeling weird!"

Percy comforted her. "It's okay Owl. I'll try and register for your school."

It was so nice that Percy comforted her.

Anyway, I just registered Percy for her school. Luckily, there was spots available. I made his

schedule so Annabeth and Percy would be in the same classes.

ANNABETH

Yay! Perce is coming to school with me! I'm going to California tomorrow, and I'll start classes the

next day. I hope my friends Brianna and Nicole won't crush on him. HE'S MINE GIRLS OF HIGH

SCHOOL!!! MINE!! ALL MINE!!
