"We seem to have a situation here, Mr. Winchester." Ms. Tran sighed. "Please, take a seat."

I sat down in a chair right in front of her desk, hesitating slightly. Situation?

"Uh, yes ma'am." I said, "The kids have been acting strangely this morning."

She looked puzzled. "You know why, don't you?"

I shook my head.

She sighed and leaned back in her chair. "I overheard some students talking this morning. About you and Mr. Novak."

"Yes, I know there's rumors. That's been happening for a while."

"It's very...odd. But what I found stranger was that one of them said they found something on yours and Mr. Novaks' cell phones."

"Our phones?" I interrupted, "I don't leave my phone out during class time, and as far as I know, neither does Cas."

"That's why I asked them how they could look through your phones. And they froze."

"Yeah, bet they did." I mumbled.

"Well, turns out they know a hacker."

"A hacker?" I burst out, "What kind of stuff did they look at?"

"They haven't given up a name, but I have the counselor talking to them right now." She assured. "They're in a lot of trouble."

I stood up. "Thank you. I have to get back to class."

"Can you send Mr. Novak down here once you get back?" she asked as I walked through the door.

"Will do."

I knocked on the door three times before opening it slightly.

He sighed in annoyance, arms crossed. "You're interrupting my class, Mr. Winchester."

Some boys in the back snickered.

I just rolled my eyes. "Ms. Tran wants you in her office."

I left after that, not even bothering to listen to what he said next. He wants to cheat on his husband because of some sudden feelings he's having, refuse to talk about it, and continuously act like a dick about it? Fine. But he's gonna have to make up his mind about it soon.

Charlie was right. I have time to figure out my feelings, but that doesn't mean he gets to drag me around like this. And it doesn't mean we get to cheat on his husband, especially since he's skeptical about leaving him.

There was a scream down the hallway. "Help me! Please!"

I started running down the hallway towards the screaming girl. It sounded like Amara. Cas followed quickly behind me. He probably heard the scream as he was stepping outside his classroom.

We got to a dead end. "Amara?" I tried.

Cas took a peak around the corner. "You okay?" he was met with silence.

He walked up to me. "There could be an intruder in the building." he whispered.

I nodded and reached for the walkie talkie on my hip, reading to call it in.

"Looking for someone?"

We both turned around to see Amara next to two very tall boys. Before either of us could say anything, both boys lunged towards us and shoved us into the open janitors closet behind us, locking us inside.

"Amara, what the hell are you doing!" I shouted.

"I said I'd fix it!" she chuckled.

"What?"

"I'll make this easy for you." she said, and I could hear her walk closer. "You two are going to stay there until you make up. Have fun!"

"Amara, let us out!" I shouted. Silence. "You are going to get into so much trouble if you don't let us out. Right. Now." More silence.

I turned towards Cas and swallowed hard. We were close, too close, inside this tight closet...

"Fix it?" he questioned.

"Your husband." I sighed. "I'm hoping this is all she has planned."

There was a moment of silence. "I'm so sorry, Dean." he finally said. "I didn't mean to drag you into this-"

"Oh, you didn't mean to?" I snapped, "I wasn't the one you kissed you in front of your house. I wasn't the one you kissed you again then walk out on my again without so much as an explanation!"

"You don't know what I'm going through!" he argued. "You're not the married one-"

"I'm not the married one-"

"Falling in love with another guy!" he finished.

I huffed. "'falling in love'. You said you weren't."

"I lied, Dean. I'm a liar. I lied to my husband for so long. I lied to my family. I lied to my students. I lied to you, and I'm so, so sorry. And now I'm paying for it, because I have to face all those people who are never going to look at me the same again. Do you know how heartbroken Ben already is? And how upset my family is going to be when they hear I'm getting a divorce? They're the ones who said I was getting married too young in the first place...and they were right..." he started to cry, real tears.

He had fucked up, yes. But I couldn't help but feel bad for him. Despite being pissed at him for dragging me into this, my own feelings didn't just go away. So I held him in my arms until he stopped crying, and we were just holding each other in silence, mutually hoping it would all turn out alright in the end.
