2-D followed you inside of your apartment building like a stray puppy.

"Haven't been 'ere since we first met." He confirmed, looking around as you both walked up the stairs.

You nodded, reaching in your back pocket where your keys had been for what seemed like ages. You struggled to unlock the door which made 2-D chuckle. You finally unlocked it and flicked on the lights. Everything was right where you left it, but the food in the fridge might have gone bad.. 2-D jumped on your couch, lying on his back.

"I like yewr apartment, (Y/n)."

You thanked him, walking over to sit next to him. You lifted his legs and sat down, placing them back on your lap.

"It's good to be home." You smiled, looking around your apartment.

2-D's face was bright red as his feet rested in your lap, but you thought nothing of it. You're surprised your apartment is still fine after being left alone for so long. You were silent, thinking of all that you and 2-D had just been through. You felt closer to him than ever before.

"Yew alrigh', love?" 2-D questioned, noticing how you kind of drifted off.

You nodded, you were just happy to finally be home.

"We could still have that movie night, Stu." You grinned, pointing to your movie collection.

2-D shook his head, yawning.

"Nah, I'd rather get some rest.. Uh, where should I sleep?"

You shrugged, he was way too tall to sleep comfortably on your small couch.

"Um, you could sleep in my bed I guess? If you don't mind sharing." You chuckled nervously.

2-D shook his head again, his blue hair flopping side to side.

"I'm fine on the couch, don't wan' t'make yew uncomfortable or whateva'..."

You rolled your eyes, with a smirk on your face.

"Friends can share a bed, Stu. It's not like we're going to have sex." You scoffed, pushing his legs from your lap so you could get up.

2-D shrieked, sitting up and pulling his knees to his chest. He covered his blushing face and shook his head rapidly. You snickered as you made your way to your room. You opened your dresser, digging for clothes for 2-D.

"Never thought I'd need these again.." You sighed, holding up your old boyfriend's t-shirt.

You grabbed a pair of his old sweatpants too and made your way back to 2-D. He was still on the couch. He looked down at your body before making eye contact with you, his face slowly turning back to red.

"I uh, got you some clothes."

You handed him the shirt and sweatpants with a faint smile. He looked up at you, frowning.

"(Y/n), yew don't 'ave a boyfriend, o-or do yew?" He sputtered, his face couldn't get any brighter.

You shook your head, hugging yourself to try to forget that bastard. There's no reason to remember someone who made you feel so awful.

"Oh.." 2-D mumbled, noticing that his question made you quiet.

He reached his arms out to you, offering you a hug with a sympathetic smile.

He really was adorable.

You giggled as he pulled you to the couch, placing you in his lap. You were glad you had a friend like
2-D. He wrapped his arms around you tightly, rocking you both back and forth soothingly. Eventually, you both fell asleep in each other's arms as he sang softly to you.
