"Because I lo-" He paused.

No words could come from his mouth, he stuttered, trying to think of what to say next.

"Ey, don't hurt yerself. Jus' shut up."

Murdoc had come from down the hall, a newspaper was under his arm.

"Hey Murdoc." You mumbled, not making eye contact.

He smiled at you, waving as he walked away before swatting 2-D in the back of the head with the newspaper. Has he already forgotten about calling you a replacement? You sure as hell hadn't. 2-D rubbed the back of his head, frowning. You were both used to this kind of behavior from Murdoc. It was sad.

"I uh, I'm gonna go um, get ready fo' tha' movie nigh' tomorrow.." 2-D muttered, waving as he walked away.

You were left alone in the hall, waving until 2-D had turned a corner and disappeared. You sighed, walking back to the couch. You missed your apartment, you missed your sad, lonely life. In some twisted way, it was better than this. You lied on the couch, stretching out your arms and legs.

"After tomorrow I think, I think I'm gonna leave." You said to yourself, turning on your side.

Your arm hung over the side of the couch. You looked off into the distance, ignoring the rest of the world. Everything seemed so broken. The band was broken, you felt broken.

"It's broken, our love.. Broken..."

You felt drowsy, you began to close your eyes. After tomorrow, you're going to leave. It's for the better.
