It was finally Saturday. Time really flies these days; either I'm enjoying life or I'm just busy a lot of the time. Today I was meant to go to the school fair with Emily and Chloe. It's going to be really fun. Apparently last year, they got to go on the Jumping Castle. Last year, I was sick so bad I had to be in bed the whole day. Mum made me eat pickles and drink some icky soup; horrible stuff.
This year, I was finally allowed to go. "Eliza, Chloe's looking for you!" Mum yelled. I ran to the front door and saw her with a bag and heaps of money. I guess Chloe's family was a pretty rich family, with all those stuff she had.
"Liam are you coming?" I question.
"Yeah just wait for me." I heard a distant voice from inside the house.
"Alright," I sighed.
Liam is taking forever in the bathroom. "Jesus Liam, hurry up you fat ass!" I yelled frustratedly.
"I'm here," he walks in still pulling his pants up.
"Mum, we're leaving now!" I called into the house.
"Alright darling, have fun and stay safe!"
"Bye!" I yelled and slammed the door shut.
We walked to the school grounds, that were about a ten-minute walk away. Since driving here would be a hassle, with not a lot of space, we decided to take the walk. I had begged Mum not to let Liam tag along on the way there, but she didn't listen; obviously, and went ahead on what she planned to do. Apparently I was just really immature and 'irrisponsible'.
"I'll meet you here at the gate in two hours." Liam said to me and walked off to meet his mates. I quickly found Chloe and Emily where I was meant to meet them tonight.
'Which ride first?" I questioned.
"THE HURRICANE!" Chloe and Emily both screamed at the same time and laughed at the fact they had both suggested the same thing.
I scanned the grounds before my eyes landed on a high- looking ride with 'hurricane' splattered on the side. It had around ten carriages with people sitting there. The seating area was moving up and down, I hated high rides like this.
Ah, crap. I think this ride is going to make me feel really sick and possibly vomit. I have the biggest fear of heights.
"I DON'T WANT TO GO ON THIS RIDE!" I protested but they dragged me towards the line of the ride.
"You have to go on!" Emily was pulling me to line up.
"NO!" I tried to escape but their grips were too tight.
"Yeah, you're going on this one. Or else we'll..." Chloe replied but instantly shut up when she caught sight of Matt, the hottest boy in grade. (honestly I didn't think he was the best looking guy but that's what they had all said).
Ever since I had met Matt, he had always teased me about my American-y accent and little stuff, but we are good friends. I guess his teasing is a bit of a 'brotherly' thing. I know who he likes and there's no way I was going to tell Chloe, no matter how much she had bugged me. I guess secrets were secrets, right? I was going to try and convince Matt that that girl was a big jerk but he'd always reply with "Then why are you friends with her, idiot?"
I was pulled onto that massive, scary ride that I didn't want to go on, aka the Hurricane.
"You have to! It's the only thing that's good in the fair! The other rides are so crap!" Chloe told the two of us but I still didn't want to. Unfortunately, Matt and Ryan made me go on.
"I'll tell him-" Matt threatened. Last time I had let him, thinking he was joking telling Ryan that I had maybe a slight cruch on him, he actually went ahead; so now he knows my 'weak spot'.
I hate Matt sometimes, he gets so annoying. I bet you though, one hundred dollars, that Matt had already told Ryan that I liked him; that big mouth of a jerk. Why did I tell him in the first place? I am so idiotic. They've apparently been friends since diapers so obviously they would know. Just in case though, I won't let him.
Before I knew it, it was around 9:30pm; Liam was going to eat me alive!
"Sorry I forgot," I panted. I wasn't a very fit person, at all.
"I was waiting for you!" Liam scolded.
"I didn't mean it! I was having so much fun with them!" I defended myself.
The whole time, Matt, Ryan, Chloe, Emily and I had a great time. It was so enjoyable, I don't recall something as amazing as that. We went on the hurricane about 100 times as well as doing a weird dare.
I had to go up to this 3rd grader and call him a big fat poo. (Another reason why we're such immature kids) I was so embarrassed after that though. I couldn't believe Ryan made me do that! I'm pretty sure Matt made him ask me to do it. Matt is like the boss of Ryan, sometimes.
We walked home in silence. Liam was probaly really angry at me of being half an hour late to meet him. It wasn't all my fault though, they made me stay for a few minutes which became a few minutes; then it piled onto more and more until I had realized.
It was 10.30pm and I had been listening to music all night long.
It's been a really really messed up week
Hot Chelle Rae, my current favourite band's song, Tonight Tonight blasted through my headphones. When Liam and the boys had found that out, they had a fit, pretending to be offended that One Direction wasn't my favourite band, but I guess they had to understand that everyone had different opinions.
By the time, the song had finished, I was drifting off to sleep.
