I got back to Shannon, she was actually right behind me the whole time!
She had heard the whole conversation and we had nothing to say about it.
"That other girl, Stephanie is a slut."
"I can tell," Shannon answers. "Maybe we should go back, my place?" Shannon asks.
I nod and we head towards where her house is, right next to mine. It was pretty devastating to see that Chloe didn't like me anymore as a friend.
Once we arrived at the Doran's we started to look around the house to see if we could find anything. There was a box labled 'Movies'.
"Hey Shaannon! Can we watch movies if your TV works?"
We rip the box apart and look inside for any movies. Harry Potter, no. Twilight, no. Puss and Boots? Nope, Shrek? NO WAY NOT THAT GREEN BOOGER MONSTER!!! Marley and Me? Well, I guess so.
Shannon turned the TV on and saw that they hadn't connected the DVD player yet.
"Damn the world!" I say angrily, I don't think the TV in my house would work now.
"Can we try your place?" Shannon asks.
"Well... I don't know?"
"Please?" she pleaded.
"Oh right whatevs."
Nicole was sitting on the couch watching some kind of romatic movie. Unluckily, when we walked in, it was the kissing scene and she was Awwing and making weird faces at the TV screen like she was the one kissing. I giggled behind her, as silently as I could, turns out that was a bit of a fail.
Nicole's head shot right backwards and cussed at me, "Eliza! Can you go away? I'm watching this and it's almost finished so you can watch TV in a sec OK?" she yelled/spoke angrily. I glared at her and lead the way back into the hallway.
"Angry Nicole," I muttered.
Shannon giggled, "Her face was funny."
"I have to agree!" I say and try to impersonate my sister making the smoochy faces.
There was a voice from behind me, "Ugh! Eliza, stop trying to be me cause you never will!"
"Sorry Nic, I was just trying to be you, yes I'm too perfect to be you."
"You really suck at doing that."
"Like I said before, I'm too perfect to be you and you're too non-perfect to be me." - That pissed her off.
"Well Eliza, I don't care and you can go watch some movie of yours!" she spat in my face.
"Wow! Watch it Nicnic!"
She glared at me before hitting the wall with her fist and walking away muttering some random thingy ma bob.
Marley and Me was a sad movie. It was when Marley was going to the hospital for the second time and Patrick was watching the videos from when he and Marley and little. I sniffled and grabbed a box of tissues. Shannon had her head in the sofa crack. I heard some sinffling, it wasn't me or Shannon.
It was Nicole, she was crying!
"Geez Nicole, piss off," I didn't want her crying to mess the movie up.
She glared at me through her tears and kicked the sofa. Shannon rolled off the sofa and landed on the floor with a 'thud'. Nicole just smirked and walked off.
I turned to look at Shannon and saw that she was.... sleeping?
The movie finished and Shannon was still sleeping on the floor.
I kicked her to wake her up, she rolled and knocked the coffee table, it shook. The mug of coffee fell sideways and some of it leaked. Some dripped on Shannon's face.
She flinched and got up in shock like just getting struck by lightning, bashing her head against the side of the coffee table. I laughed and fell, holding my stomach. Wow, she was causing some problems sleeping!
"Sorry Eliza, I wasn't-" but I cutted her off
"It's OK, plus you fell asleep!"
"Whatever," she muttered.
It was around noon now, Mum had bought some cookies home with M&M's sticking out of the sides and in the cookie.
"COOKIEEEE!" Shannon squeales.
"Calm dowwn."
"HAAAVEEE IIII TOOO-OOLLDD YYYOOOU TTTTTHAAAT AIAIA III GOOO HYYYYP OOON COOOOOOOOOOKIIIIIIIIIEEE!"
"Pardon?" I ask and take a cookie and give it to her.
"I said," She says with a mouthfull "I go hyper on cookies!"
"Oh! Something to watch out for."
Liam walkes in past me and grabs three cookies, the rest.
"MY COOKIES!" Shannon and I both yell at Liam.
"Wow, wow, guys. I didn't get any yet."
"LIAM! IT'S MINE!"
"Shhh..." Liam says.
Shannon lunges herself at Liam as Liam takes by surprise and grabs all three cookies and in a second, they were all gone. Shannon patted her stomach "Yum."
We all crack up at her hyperness and her attitude. It was funny how she just went hyper and knocked him off and before I could get back to her, she had it all in her stomach and it was all gone! Wow, was she a fast eater!
"Do you want any lunch?" Mum asks. "Oh, you guys finished all the cookies," she says addressing me and Shannon.
"Well Mum, Shannon ate all of it!"
"Oh, alright. I'll buy more cookies next time."
"COOOOKKKKIIIIIIIIIIESSS!" Hyper Shannon...
"Don't mind her, she goes hyper on cookies..." I say. Mum looks at Shannon like she was some kind of alien and just leaves the room making a face. We both laugh, Mum's expression was priceless!
While time walked past, we were having so much fun. I got to know her more in the past few hours and found out that she hadn't decided a school yet. I was going to keep my fingers crossed, hoping she'd be in my class if she came to my school.
Her mother came to let her know she had to be home in a few minutes but my mum started talking to her, I knew we would have a bit more time.
When she finally had to go home, I promised her we would hang out another time, sometime soon.
"She is a nice girl and all except when there are cookies around or cookies mentioned," I say and Mum just chuckles.
