Genesis woke up to the sound of her alarm ringing loudly. She groaned and turned it off and laid in bed for five minutes before getting up.

She went to the bathroom and started brushing her teeth. In midway of finishing her her thoughts made her want to mentally hit herself.

Its Saturday and work don't start til 11.

She started throwing a mini tantrum and finished brushing her teeth. She looked in the mirror and huffed walking back to her bed and laying there.

She couldn't go back to sleep.

She sighed and went in the living room and turned on the tv. Nothing was on at the moment but it could keep her company until she went to work.

2 hours had passed and it was time for genesis to leave. She locked up the house and got in Kylie's car.

"Hey gen wassup girl?" Kylie asked before pulling out of their driveway and speeding off. Gen shook her head and leaned against the window.

She thought about how she saw all the house bills on the table and realized:

How are we going to pay the bills and our jobs don't pay as much? She thought. It was true, sooner or later they wouldn't have any home. Genesis  had to figure out what she was going to do.

And she had to figure out fast.

But while genesis was at work, jahseh had met up with his best friend.

Ski. Was his name.Not his real name of course. And he had met jahseh in jail. Ski was the same as jahseh, they both had a heart for music and they both were trouble makers.

At the moment they were messing around with beats and making freestyle until jahseh aunt called him.

"Jah i need you to go pick up this cake from the bakery, I'll text you the location" she said in a serious tone. Jahseh mentally rolled his eyes and nodded a as if she could see him.

"Alright" x said. he told ski about the phone call and then they both headed out the door. Jahseh aunt sent him the location and he followed the gps.

It wasn't far from ski's house. It was only 3 blocks away. Jahseh turned off the gps on his phone when it said destination reached. Him and ski got out the car and walked in the bakery.

Nobody was at the register and it irritated ski. "Helloooo anyone in this bitch?"

A caramel girl walked out with a slumped look on her face and her name tag read:

Genesis.

Jahseh's mind immediately clicked once he the name. "Yeah we came to pick up an order" genesis went to the back and came back with a white box with the cake in it.

Ski smirked at the girl and made a comment that he thought was sure to pull him to her.

"Give me your number" he said as Genesis raised her flawless eyebrows. "Excuse you?"she said in a serious tone.

X enjoyed the whole thing. He chuckled at ski's rudeness and walked out with the cake knowing he wasn't going to get her number.

Jasheh sat in the car for 5 minutes before ski got in grinning like  cheshire cat. Ski shook a little piece of paper in X's face as jahseh tried to get a good look but he was shaking the paper too fast. Jahseh snatched the paper and looked at it.

It was her number. She actually gave it to him, but while ski was being a jackass, Ms.lake had bad news to tell to kylie and genesis.

"Girls I can't afford to keep paying the money to keep this building running so i have to close it down" she said in a saddened tone. Genesis was a little crushed inside, she knew Ms.lakes loved this place, and her closing down is going to be the worst thing ever.

"Well there's have to be something we can do to help" kylie says concerned. Ms.lakes just shook her head while shutting down the shop for the night.
"I only have 2 months left then I'm down girls"she said.

The rest of the night was terrible for Genesis, her mother had bills on top of each other and Ms.lakes was getting closed down.

The only thing she could do was call kylie.

She hesitated before pressing the name and sighed lightly as the phone rang. Genesis finally realized that she had answered and said,

"So about that escorting job..."

I didn't like this chapter but it gets good next chapter I promise.
