Jahseh stayed at the hospital with Genesis that night. He had fallen asleep on her while she still wrote on the paper she been writing non-stop.

Genesis sighed and yawned, she looked over at Jahseh who was knocked out making low snores. The girl chuckled lightly to herself before going into a deep sleep.

Jahseh woke up to the girl still sleeping. He wanted to surprise her with the drawing so he decided to leave early.

He got missed calls from his aunt and his friends when he turned his phone back on.

Genesis woke up looking over to find no sign of Jahseh. She smiled at the thought of him. Her mother had appeared in the door way with something clutched in her hand.

The mother smiled at sat in the chair beside the bed her daughter laid in. Genesis pointed to the mother's hand with a look of confusion.

"I found the necklace you lost when you we're a kid. ",The mother said putting the silver necklace with the elephant in her hand.

Genesis smiled showing her straight white teeth.

"Genesis I can't stay long today cause I have wor-"

"It's okay mom, I'll be okay.", The girl said with a reassuring look. Thus, the mother didn't want to leave.

They small talked for an hour then she left, leaving Genesis's phone. Her mother retrieved it, after the cops was done identifying the car.

The screen unbelievably had one crack. Genesis didn't even touch the phone. She thought what was the point anyway. She was living in the last days anyway.

Jahseh returned after another hour had passed, he surprised her with the drawing. Even though she could barely see it, she knew the boy did outstanding.

Jahseh decided to color a few more pictures until Genesis got his attention.

"These pills are making me tired, I'm just going to take a nap...here-"

The girl took of the silver elephant necklace and gave it to him. Jahseh looked at her with confusion as to why she gave him her necklace.

But Genesis knew exactly why.

She knew this was going to be the last time she saw anyone. And Jahseh meant dearly to her.

She turned her body so Jahseh couldn't see her face, and she closed her eyes with tears falling onto her cheeks.

Genesis drifted off into her slumber knowing she would never wake up.

The boy sighed trying to finish the princess coloring page Genesis never finished.

He was almost done with the picture until his hand started cramping.

"Why the hell her dress so damn big anyways, I'm just going to tell Genesis I can't finish the paper. ",He mumbled getting up and stretching.

The pulse machine starts making a long beeping noise. Jahseh's eyes widen immediately calling for the doctor.

Jahseh tried shaking the girl but never got a response.

The nurses and doctors told Jahseh to leave before he could see anything else.

Genesis Johnson was truly gone.
