Through most of the day everyone gave her dirty looks and jahseh just ignored her. Even the teachers found out and asked if she was okay and genesis would simply shrug. Jeremiah didn't regret what he did. Genesis didn't have to explain herself to anyone. She knew what she didn't do and that only mattered now.
She felt like breaking into, pieces slowly. She couldn't cry, hell she wouldn't cry. Everything will be alright. She kept telling herself. She rode the bus with all her 'friends' asking what happened. But she kept quiet. They left her alone about it once she got close to her stop.
Genesis was thinking hard about everything and came to the conclusion of being antisocial. It wasn't like she wasn't use to being that way, she had promised herself in 9th grade that she would become more social and she did.
She attracted the wrong group, the 'popular' group. And as time passed it was now April. And jahseh still ignored her. She changed her appearance a bit. Her light hair was now a dark brown color which brought out her hazel eyes and she started to dress better.
The rumors about her fucking with other boys had died off but it didn't stop most boys from talking to her. But they would just receive a slight head shake and a shrug from her.
Her new job was paying off alot of things and it even got the old bakery back. She wasn't scared if people from her school found out she was stripping because she never cared about what anybody said to her.
Today was her day off and her she needed to go shopping. She was walking to forever 21 until she smacked face into someone.
"Damn watch were your going." A familiar voice said. Jahseh. Genesis knew exactly who it was but she just gathered her things before jahseh could notice her. After that she felt as if she did enough shopping.
Jahseh scrunches up his face as the girl forgot one of her bags. He quickly tried following her but he couldn't keep up with her small frame.
When he finally reached her he grabbed her shoulder turning her around swiftly.
His dark eyes met with hers and she saw they taken back look he had once he saw her. She fiddle with her fingers, getting a turning feeling in her stomach.
"You forgot your bag." He said nonchalantly. She grabbed the bag and mumbled a thank you. Jahseh had so many questions as to why she stopped talking. Genesis walked away without even giving him a chance to speak.
