Of course Jahseh couldn't look into the casket , he would have broken at that moment. Almost everyone showed up at the funeral.
He even saw some teachers crying. The boy cried as soon as he heard that his lover was dead. Jahseh kept everything she coloured and the necklace.
Before the funeral, he spent his nights crying with her necklace in his hands.
Jahseh had finally realized why she tensed up about getting out the hospital and why she gave him the necklace. Oh how it broke the boy's heart.
He remembered how every time he would ramble on about nonsense she listened closely. His aunt came with him to the funeral cause he asked her.
His aunt knew how much he loved the girl and she wouldn't be an aunt if she never supported him, right?
After the funeral was over, Genesis's mom gave Jahseh a letter with the words:
"She wanted you to read this after.. " The mother said. Jahseh nodded taking the letter.
That's why she was writing for so long in the hospital, it was for the letter she had given.
Jahseh tried his best not to cry as he got in the car. His aunt couldn't comfort her nephew at this moment.
He decided to read the letter now:
